Mass Shootings Down Memory Hole While Military Propaganda Creates New Reality

It didn't take the media more than a week or two to move on to the next obsession du jour after there were two mass shootings in two days, without mentioning any of the other mass shootings by veterans on military bases or the hundreds if not thousands more murders by veterans.

At the same time they're constantly promoting propaganda glorifying veterans giving them a false image, especially around the holidays when they play routine surprise homecomings on national and local news shows.

Not that I'm trying to imply that all veterans are mass shooters; this certainly isn't close to the truth. The vast majority of veterans aren't mass killers, and many of them are the first to recognize this problem and try to solve it, in addition to the veterans that have learned that their government has betrayed them and have joined organizations against wars based on lies.

It would be highly inappropriate to stereotype veterans by saying or implying that they're all alike; yet that's exactly what routine propaganda about them all being heroes when they join the military to "fight for our freedom." But then as soon as they question authority, raising doubts about fighting wars based on lies, they're often demonized as being unpatriotic. Or even worse when some of the most violence ones go on mass shooting sprees, which is far more common than most people realize; then they act as if each shooting is an isolated incident.

I went into this more about five years ago in Teach a soldier to kill and he just might where I cited a surprisingly long list of veterans going on shootings sprees or domestic violence, including murder. In many cases the most common victim of veteran shootings are other veterans and their own family members. These are often the first people to acknowledge the problem and try to solve it; but they get little or no help from the military, which is often more concerned with recruiting more veterans and even creating propaganda to glorify wars, often indirectly by creating a false image of veterans which ignores their real concerns.

These veteran shootings continue to happen on a semi-regular basis, although they're typically only reported as isolated incidents at the local level, with a few higher profile ones; I haven't compiled as long a list or as thorough a review since the one in 2014 but I have covered additional veteran shootings since then some which were listed in a Twitter string about Veterans Shootings these continue to day including a veteran that was arrested and charged for murdering a toddler on New Years Day, several higher profile ones including Mikhail Schmidt, Edward Gallagher & Roy H. Murry, and many more much lower profile ones that are only reported at the local level and they may not always report that those charged are veterans.

Roy H. Murry was an Iraq veteran and former Republican nominee for the State Senate convicted of killing three members of his wife's family and burning their house in an attempt to hide the evidence; Mikhail Schmidt was another Iraq veteran and triathlete who competed in the Iron Man Triathlon who allegedly "Craved the Taste of Blood" and "Missed Thrill of Killing" and claims that "a counter-terror group called 'Agent Orange' implanted nanobots in his brain and activated him to carry out the killing at an Oceanside construction site;" and Edward Gallagher has made more news nationally after Trump pardoned him despite the fact that he posed with the dead bodies of his victims in Iraq and one of his fellow Navy SEALs claimed he was "Freaking Evil."

The vast majority of veterans certainly aren't like this many are far more like those that try to stand up to them; however many others go along with them, including other veterans that posed with Gallagher and numerous other similar incidents that have been reported over the years.

Of course that's not the image the military is trying to present, and they go to the complete opposite extreme creating an image that doesn't stand up to basic scrutiny with propaganda glorifying veterans as if they're all heroes including hundreds of "surprise homecomings" that clearly take an enormous amount of planning, and are often broadcast on national or local TV and at sporting events.

I've been seeing "surprise homecomings" for years now almost every holiday, and often in between for birthdays graduations, and apparently a lot at sporting events. these are all caught on video and broadcast on TV, some of the ones at sporting events show them on a large screen to the audience as it happens. There were at least three of them, where the veteran literally jumps out of boxes disguised as birthday or Christmas presents. At first I thought this was a few isolated cases, but after seeing enough of them it became increasingly obvious that these are happening way to often and following a consistent pattern where veterans, and other institutions like sports stadiums, schools, Sea world, and any place else hosting these affairs clearly has to be involved in the planning for this.

I didn't need any hard evidence to see that this is clearly an organized plan, especially once I started checking to see how many of these events would turn up on Google and quickly found dozens of them, and no doubt could find hundreds if not thousands more if I spent enough time searching for "surprise homecomings" for holidays throughout the year, birthdays and a variety of different sporting events or states.

I don't know when they became so common but I suspect that they gradually increased after the Iraq War and after finding this article The NDAA Legalizes The Use Of Propaganda On The US Public 05/21/2012 I wouldn't be surprised if they increased even more after 2012. There's little or no hard evidence, that I know of showing this is intentional propaganda; however, it's incredibly hard to imagine how there could be so many of these surprise homecomings otherwise and checking for "surprise homecomings turns up at least a couple articles strongly confirming this including this one:

Editorial: Tax-funded propaganda is the norm for government 11/17/2016

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society,” wrote Edward Bernays, regarded as the “father of public relations,” in his 1928 book, “Propaganda.” The U.S. government seems to have gotten the message, spending significant resources on public-relations efforts.

Federal agencies have spent about $1 billion a year over the past decade on advertising and public relations, according to a recent Government Accountability Office report. Even this figure likely understates the actual costs, the GAO notes, due to imprecise budget classifications and the difficulty in defining “public relations” activities and personnel.

The Defense Department is responsible for the largest share by far, accounting for 40 percent of all federal public-relations personnel and 60 percent of all PR spending. The Department of Veterans Affairs experienced the largest rate of increase in public relations spending during the period, doubling its PR staff from 144 in 2006 to 286 in 2014 (which was, probably not coincidentally, the year the VA hospital negligence and wait time scandal broke).

The government’s public-relations services include perfectly legitimate functions, such as providing notice of impending regulations and public comment periods or informing the public about health and safety threats. But when the Health and Human Services Department launches an expensive pro-Obamacare advertising campaign, or the Pentagon tries to spin and influence media coverage of military actions, the question we must continually ask is: When does public information cross the line to propaganda?

A report last year from Arizona Republican Sens. John McCain and Jeff Flake criticized what they called “paid patriotism,” the practice of the military paying pro and college sports teams to perform on-field flag ceremonies, surprise homecomings, wounded warrior tributes, ceremonial first pitches and the like.

“Americans deserve the ability to assume that tributes for our men and women in military uniform are genuine displays of national pride, which many are, rather than taxpayer-funded DoD marketing gimmicks,” they said.

A 2008 New York Times investigation revealed that the retired military officers who serve as “military analysts” on many news programs oftentimes parroted administration talking points in exchange for special briefings and access to administration officials, which many of them used to advance their own business interests by pursuing government defense contracts. But apparently they're going even further with their propaganda and their choice of family members and retiring veterans clearly has obvious political implications in the following article about a veteran who served in South Korea, which hasn't been a combat zone in almost six decades, and the wife he was surprising also happens to be a cheer leader and a candidate for political office:

Surprise Military Reunions At NFL Games Reach Peak Bullshit 09/02/2015

During last weekend’s preseason St. Louis Rams game, a familiar ritual played out: With a stadium full of fans and a television audience watching, Rams cheerleader Candace Ruocco Valentine was surprised by the arrival of her husband August Valentine, a Marine Corps first lieutenant, who had just returned home from service abroad.

......

These headlines accurately capture what’s imparted in the story-like objects over which they run, which tell the tale of the St. Louis Rams surprising a cheerleader with the return of her military husband from service overseas. As far as we can tell, every element of it is true. It could also be described rather differently.

Candace Ruocco Valentine is in fact a cheerleader for the St. Louis Rams. She made her debut this past weekend, at the very game at which her husband surprised her with his return from abroad. She’s several other things as well: a first lieutenant in the USMC (without wanting to scrutinize the gender politics of something that involves Rampage the Ram too closely, one might wonder why no headline writer went with “Husband Surprises Military Wife At Her Job”); a former White House intern who worked under Laura Bush; and a member of the Ruocco family, which is heavily involved in Illinois Republican politics.

August Valentine, meanwhile, is in fact a first lieutenant in the USMC. He made his surprise return to St. Louis, though, not from, say, the anxiety and peril of a security mission in Anbar province, but from a posting in South Korea, where combat operations wound down 62 years ago. He also happens to be not some anonymous leatherneck but a member of the galactically wealthy Busch family, which built the Anheuser-Busch corporation and, years after the sale of the business, retains incredible power in St. Louis. Valentine’s maternal grandfather, Gussie Busch, is generally credited with building the family business into the biggest brewery in the world; the Rams at one point played in a stadium named for the family.

For perspective, the happy couple had their wedding ceremony at the Vatican. That isn’t to say that rich people don’t deserve nice moments, or that their Rampage-approved emotions are less authentic than anyone else’s, but, along with other basic information about the two, it does slightly complicate the story of a photogenic NFL cheerleader being surprised by her photogenic military husband’s surprise return from service at the football game. So does one of Candace Ruocco Valentine’s Facebook posts, in which she lauds not only the Rams for their efforts to make this reunion happen, but “the mom-with-a-plan: Mrs. Katherine Ruocco.”

Speaking of plans, that would be the same Katherine Ruocco who is running for a state representative’s seat in Illinois, and who now has a patriotic viral video featuring her family—lately seen on Fox News—to share on her campaign’s official Facebook page.

It makes sense that an NFL team would go out of its way to do something special for a member of one of the most powerful families in America instead of, say, a local grunt who’d served in a combat zone, because these reunions really aren’t orchestrated and televised for the benefit of the soldiers and families involved. They are done because cozying up to the military is a good way for the NFL to market itself as a noble civic endeavor while making some extra money, and because the American football-loving public loves a chance to share in a bit of un-earned catharsis—watching two smiling, photogenic soldiers embrace in relief is a great way to forget about all the bodies that have piled up. If a given reunion happens to basically be a viral political ad—and given that Candace Ruocco Valentine is not only the member of two connected families and a former White House intern but has pursued or is pursuing both a JD and a doctorate in public policy analysis, one suspects that this moment may be shared on some campaign page of her own before too long—it’s hard to be too put out. That is, after all, what they all are. Complete article

If this isn't considered hard evidence of obvious propaganda I can't imagine what is.

With so many of these surprise homecomings they have to be careful to select veterans that they think will reflect well on the military; they can't all be from privileged families that use their connections to help create propaganda. And they also have to be aware of all the mass shootings or studies showing that rates of domestic violence are higher in the military, as well as in the police force, than they are among the general public.

Hollywood certainly considered this when they created "Wag the Dog" over twenty years ago and Woody Harrelson played the person they chose to present as a "war hero" who they wanted to nickname "Old Shoe" so they picked Sgt. William Schumann. However after committing themselves to this person without running a background check they found out he was in prison for rape and that he was a psychopath; but by the time they learned this they already committed to him and decided to go ahead with it anyway and he was sent t other custody when he escaped, tried to rape someone and was killed, in self defense. They managed to cover this up and changed the plan to glorifying him as a veteran who died serving his country creating what they called "The Ballad of 303" which was a clear variation of "The Ballad of the Green Berets which was a hit song in 1966; however the veteran singer, Barry Sadler who "killed a country music songwriter named Lee Emerson Bellamy ..... According to court records, Sadler had then placed a handgun in Bellamy's van, presumably to strengthen his claim of self-defense."

He served a total of twenty-eight days in jail, which presumably few if any military veterans could get away with that aren't famous; he was eventually shot in the head putting him in a coma and eventually killing him, under circumstances that aren't fully explained.

The Hollywood propaganda version is obviously an exaggeration, if not a total fabrication, of some of the problems they have with violent veterans that have committed murder or gone on mass shootings sprees, including Ivan Lopez who went on a mass shootings spree at Fort Hood Texas after they refused to give him leave time to go home when his mother died.

And there are plenty more stories about the more violent veterans that do get in more trouble, either for murder domestic abuse or lots of fights, including in the memoirs of many of the most famous veterans that don't describe noble attitudes concerned about fighting for freedom at all, including Michael Walsh author of "Seal" and Chris Kyle author of “American Sniper” both who report about large number of fights often bragging about them, sometimes over petty reasons. According to Kyle's book he allegedly encountered a celebrity, who turned out to be Jesse Ventura, who said that they shouldn't have been in Iraq, and that he turned up at a funeral with a black eye after this strongly implying that he punched him out over the argument. Jesse Ventura eventually won a libel suit against him; but even if you accept Kyle's version of events it seems to imply that punching someone out for telling the truth about a war which was based on lies is justification for punching someone out.

Some of these memoirs brag about using force to get their way, and they're often the ones considered most heroic; but of course, that's not all veterans but the military actually encourages this type of behavior in their training starting with boot camp indoctrination where drill instructors teach cadets to blindly obey orders and believe what they're told to believe.

If there were only one or two of these surprise homecomings that might not impact the vast majority of other veterans; however since they're being done on a massive scale it's clear that those chosen to participate in them do so at the expense of those that are turned down. The public never hears about the vast majority of of veterans that are often turned down to make up for shortages; however samples of their stories are told in numerous memoirs. These aren't limited to being unable to go home for the holidays, of course.

One example which is cited in "As You Were: To war And Back" Christian Davenport involved a veteran who tried to call the hotline for veterans with PTSD who wanted to get help and got the run-around with little or no response. She heard about a meeting offering help for veterans with problems and decided to attend; but got so angry that she started yelling at the speaker about how many problems there were with their programs and stormed out. She later encountered the same speaker and instead of reprimanding her for disorderly conduct to an officer seemed sympathetic and told her that he wanted her to call a number that he gave he. She seemed to think he was sincere and thought that this might help; but when she got home and looked at the number she realized that it was the same hotline that had already given her the run around.

On one recent occasion a relatively minor attempt at propaganda backfired in a major way when it was presented on social media; the Army Tweeted "Hear from Pfc. Nathan Spencer, a scout with @FightingFirst who shares how the #USArmy has influenced his life," with a video from a veteran talking about positive things the army did for his life then followed up by asking other veterans How has serving impacted you? 05/23/2019 The vast majority of responses were overwhelmingly negative talking about how much damage the military did to their life. I had to scroll down though a few dozen before seeing a joke that might be considered mildly positive and another dozen or two before seeing a tweet that was clearly positive. It must be at least 95-98% negative with some horrible claims. A few of these were compiled in The US Army Asked Twitter How Service Has Impacted People. The Answers Were Gut-Wrenching. 05/25/2019 and These 30 Responses To U.S. Army Asking ‘How Has Serving Impacted You?’ Was Not What They Were Expecting To Hear June 2019

This is a clear indication that if they allow equal input from social media their propaganda won't even come close to holding up. the only reason they can get away with this is because large institutions are all controlled by wealthy people including the six corporations that control the media and they have hundreds of high paid propagandists that study how to manipulate the public to believing what they're told even when it often contradicts overwhelming evidence!

Stories like this are repeated over and over again from many veterans in memoirs or elsewhere; but they're not the image the military depicts in their propaganda which is nothing like reality. While the version presented by mainstream media and the military is constantly glorifying the military repeating claims that they're fighting for our freedom over and over again, memoirs or alternative media outlets routinely tell a totally different version of reality exposing enormous amount of corrupt, lies about weapons of mass destruction, babies being removed from incubators, the Gulf of Tonkin and reminding the public that the Vietnamese signed their own Declaration of Independence, and that many of the leaders we're fighting against often have far more support from their own people, meaning that our military isn't fighting to defend democracy at all!

If one of the leading propagandist for the Vietnam war can't demonstrate with his actions that they;re fighting for freedom, especially since the Vietnamese people never tried to invade our country and only wanted to choose their own leaders, that should raise major doubts about the media's propaganda. But of course the best research into the truth about wars is absent from mainstream media, so it often goes without scrutiny, even if it doesn't seem to make sense, since it's at best an incomplete story.
Ballad of the Green Berets

Barry Sadler

Fighting Soldiers from the sky
Fearless men who jump and die
Men who mean just what they say
The brave men of the Green Beret

Silver Wings upon their chest
These are men America's best
100 men will test today
But only 3 win the Green Beret

Trained to live of nature's land
Trained in combat hand to hand
Men who fight by night and day
Courage take from the Green Beret

Silver Wings upon their chest
These are men America's best
100 men will test today
But only 3 win the Green Beret

Back at home a young wife waits
Her Green Beret has met his fate
He has died for those oppressed
Leaving her his last request

Put Silver Wings on my son's chest
Make him one of America's best
He'll be a man he'll test one day
Have him win the Green Beret

There should be no doubt that the vast majority of veterans don't go into the army thinking that they're going to fight wars base don lies, but all to often they find out the hard way, either that or they accept the propaganda without thinking it thorugh and go into denial, which is almost certainly a major contributing factor of PTSD. No one would want to believe that Tim McIlrath's version with "Rise Against" is closer to truth but for many it just might be:
Hero of War

Rise Against

He said son, have you seen the world?
Well, what would you say if I said that you could
Just carry this gun, you'll even get paid
I said that sounds pretty good

Black leather boots
Spit-shined so bright
They cut off my hair but it looked alright
We marched and we sang
We all became friends
As we learned how to fight

A hero of war
Yeah that's what I'll be
And when I come home
They'll be damn proud of me
I'll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Cause it's a flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

I kicked in the door
I yelled my commands
The children, they cried
But I got my man
We took him away
A bag over his face
From his family and his friends

They took off his clothes
They pissed in his hands
I told them to stop
But then I joined in
We beat him with guns
And batons not just once
But again and again

A hero of war
Yeah that's what I'll be
And when I come home
They'll be damn proud of me
I'll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Cause it's a flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

She walked through bullets and haze
I asked her to stop
I begged her to stay
But she pressed on
So I lifted my gun
And I fired away

And the shells jumped through the smoke
And into the sand
That the blood now had soaked
She collapsed with a flag in her hand
A flag white as snow

A hero of war
Is that what they see?
Just medals and scars
So damn proud of me
And I brought home that flag
Now it gathers dust
But it's a flag that I love
The only flag that I trust

He said, son, have you seen the world?
Well what would you say, if I said that you could?

It may not be clear in the lyrics but according to Hero of War description he finds out the hard way that the girl he shot was carrying a flag of surrender, and that's the one he took home and trusted more than the one he started out with. The most credible news or propaganda is rarely ever what the media or the government gives to the majority of the public.

Leah Remini Exposing Part Of Scientology, And Aiding Cover-up Of More?

Scientology, and their critics have become so insane it's virtually impossible to tell which ones are right, and when, and there's a strong possibility that they're often both wrong, although I think Leah Remini and other high profile critics are far more credible than the Church, which often does more to make themselves look bad than they do to defend themselves.

However, even though "Scientology and the Aftermath" does a good job exposing a large portion of Scientology's propaganda, if your familiar with propaganda it's not hard to recognize that they also use their own propaganda to support their cause; and there might be some additional unsolved mysteries that they don't even try to acknowledge.

I went into this more in Scientology connection to the CIA? Ancient Aliens? Other mystics including Helena Blavatsky? However, even though I do consider some theories that many people consider far-fetched, I try to be a rational skeptic about it, and start with fundamentals that we can be certain of, especially if more complicated theories fall apart, which they often do, or need more modest corrections.

In my previous article I cited numerous major unsolved mysteries, including other mystics, most of which require a close look to sort out the details, and ancient megaliths which shouldn't have been possible to more with ancient technology based on experiments to replicate them, which does provide extraordinary evidence of a major unsolved mystery, although it's more difficult to conclusively connect it to other major unsolved mysteries.

Another fundamental that help's to understand what's going on are the basics of propaganda, some of which Leah Remini and Mike Rinder are exposing when Scientology uses them while simultaneously using their own propaganda. One of the most basic fundamentals of propaganda is that "A lie told often enough becomes the truth," (This quote was attributed to numerous propagandists, including Lenin, however, even though they probably didn't say it it's an accurate principle of propaganda) or at least it seems to, especially if opposing views aren't given an opportunity to expose the lie.

The mainstream media, controlling over 90% of the news, is now controlled by six oligarchies, about half a dozen of the biggest news outlets, including the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Time Magazine, etc., not controlled by these oligarchs are owned by billionaires. No one, including Leah Remini and Mike Rinder can get this much coverage without the approval of these billionaires or multi-millionaires that control the mass media; and pretty much all they report is selective propaganda.

What they report in this show is a minuscule fraction of the history of Scientology, and there's good reason to believe they're selectively ignoring things that don't fit into their partial disclosure of Scientology, for one reason or another. In my previous article I mentioned how many people from Morocco, various other European, African and Caribbean countries all came to the conclusion that Scientology was a front for the CIA. This was reported in "Going Clear" by Lawrence Wright, which was cited several times briefly in "Scientology and the Aftermath," although they don't promote this nearly as much as Leah's own book or the book by Ron Miscavige Sr., neither of which does nearly as good a job reporting on the history of Scientology as Wright.

But even Wright doesn't question why all these people thought Scientology was a front for the CIA, or explain why, after being forced to abandon a trip to Charleston, South Carolina because "agents from US Customs, Immigration, Coast Guard, DEA, and US Marshals were waiting for them to dock, plus 180 IRS agents waiting to impound the ship," (Wright p. 130-4) and being rejected in the Caribbean, they were able to land in Clearwater and virtually take over the town as Leah's recent episode, "Watch Buying a Town" reports without an enormous amount of background that some people checking other sources might be aware of.

If Scientology had connections to the CIA as many people in these foreign countries thought they did in the sixties and seventies, then this might make sense, if they didn't it's hard to imaging how this could possibly made sense and there should be little or no doubt that the government could have easily prevented them from taking over the town, unless they really did want them to take it over for reasons that are still not being disclosed. There have been plenty of previous, somewhat obscure, reports about ties between the CIA and Scientology going back decades, although many of them seem to have serious credibility problems. In many of these either Scientology is trying to infiltrate various government agencies, including the IRS, FBI, CIA, etc., and in others it's the CIA that's trying to infiltrate Scientology, which all seems quite absurd; however if they were working together from the beginning this could hide it by making them seem like adversaries.

This enables the government to "investigate" Scientology, when they get exposed in outrageous wrong doing, but somehow to bungle it enabling them to continue business as usual. According to several reports both Harold "Hal" Puthoff from NSA and Ingo Swann joined Scientology while also maintaining ties to the CIA in experiments in alleged "remote viewing" or other paranormal activities that both the CIA and Scientology were interested in, although it's hard to confirm or refute any of this even if most people consider it highly unlikely, or fringe.

In most cases it's difficult if not impossible to know if there's something to many of these major unexplained phenomena, although it often seems easy to dismiss them as ridiculous; however even if that is the case there's still a major unsolved mystery about why there was such a big effort to make it seem like these phenomena are real when they're not, often from sources that are actually quite rational or have a high amount of political power, including the CIA which has been heavily involved in some of this research according to many declassified documents, and the mainstream media, that provides media coverage of the Ancient Aliens show while they refuse to provide coverage for many of the most credible researchers on any scientific subject, including skeptics, whether they're as rational as they claim to be or not, or good researchers exposing how violence escalates from early child abuse, how propaganda is used by traditional media outlets to indoctrinate children, how the economic system is rigged for insurance companies, and many other subjects.

My previous article about this subject cited Philip Corso's claim that he personally worked to distribute technology that was allegedly obtained from alien crafts that had crashed so they could be reverse engineered. If this is true then it has major implications; if not then there's still a major unsolved mystery about why a Lieutenant Colonel would make such a claim and why there would be some many people, including Strom Thurmond, Paul Hellyer, and many other notable figures supported these claims, although Thurmond retracted his forward under bizarre circumstances, perhaps under pressure. There are many other high ranking officials including military officers, astronauts, politicians etc. also claiming that there's more to the UFO mystery than so-called skeptics claim as well, indicating that either there's something to it or a conspiracy to make it seem like there is.

If there is something to this theory, then this could be part of a controlled disclosure effort, however even if there isn't there's still a problem with this show that is dominated by people previously involved in the leadership of Scientology, that ignores many major unsolved mysteries. When they do cite some of their critics, it's usually the most absurd ones, so it actually does more to make their case. And they downplay some of the reasons why Scientology gets away with so much, including saying the city of Clearwater "overreached," implying there was some justification for the courts to take the side of Scientology leaders, even though there are many more problems that could have been used to justify further investigation.

Freedom of religion doesn't justify epidemic levels of fraud, human trafficking, false imprisonment, negligent homicide (Lisa McPherson is just one of many examples cited by their critics, more were mentioned in my previous article with links), stalking, and many other activities that should enable the government to treat them like a criminal organization. At times the cast of this show acts as if they fighting to get the government to go after them, but other times they're whitewashing lame excuses not to, at least partially.

Additional unsolved mysteries also include how they manage to get all their money, which I mentioned in the previous article, and why they get so much support from other religions which are allegedly competing with them for followers of the "one true religion," as most religions claim to represent. Leah's show recently exposed strange ties with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, which don't seem to make any sense, including allowing them to recruit members for a blatantly incompatible religion. Additional ties have shown up with Israel, the Mormons or perhaps several other religions. The Simon Wiesenthal Center, which exposes human rights abuses around the world apparently looked the other way at Scientology's abuses and their connections to the Nation of Islam, when they gave Tom Cruise a "Humanitarian Award."

They recently did an expose about Jehovah's Witnesses, which was unlike any other episode focusing on another religion where people were also intimidated and forced to disconnect, like Scientologists. Some of the critics within the Nation of Islam might have also been subject to intimidation when they questioned their ties to Scientology, which appear to be stronger than to other religions. After this aired there were apparently a lot of requests to expose Mormons next or a few other requests for other religions which they consider cults. This isn't surprising, and they almost certainly anticipated it.

When Mike Rinder found a meme suggesting they go after Mormons next he responded by saying on Twitter I don'[t know who created this. It's a great sentiment, though I would have labeled the cat "Bad Guys" or "Abusers". Nobody who takes advantage of people who have no voice to obtain justice is safe when @LeahRemini is around. #ScientologyTheAftermath 12/07/2018 within an hour or so "Canada Against Scientology" created another meme fulfilling this suggestion. I can't say for certain that this might have been planned, but created my own that might fit just as well.

If Corso is correct then there's little or no chance that they've come out with full and sincere disclosure; however, both the "Ancient Aliens" show and "Scientology and the Aftermath" might be full of partial disclosure mixed in with absurd mistakes, some of which become clear when checking with other sources for major omissions or other problems with their disclosures.

Another major omission was the fact that they cited Marty Rathbun in their recent show, showing an old audio clip of him admitting to some of the work he confessed to for Scientology after leaving the Church without mentioning that apparently the initially intended to invite him to be come a regular when "Scientology and the Aftermath" first aired; but, at about the same time he started smearing his former anti-Scientology allies, creating a lot of speculation about the possibility that he's gone back to Scientology, or that they're blackmailing him, which I can't completely rule out.

Mike Rinder and Marty Rathbun eight to ten years ago, when they were still friends.

However if there is some kind of controlled disclosure effort going on they might want to make sure they can avoid disclosing too much ahead of schedule, assuming they ever do want to provide full disclosure, and maintaining constant bickering is a good way to keep people distracted, constantly defending people on their own side, whichever side that happens to be at any given time. If he was returning to Scientology, they might tone down their smears against him, which judging by some of the web pages about him they haven't, or perhaps he might have gone back and deleted some of his previous articles praising Mike Rinder and other people he now seems to be smearing including "Mike Rinder: The Antithesis of David Miscavige" seven or so years ago where he says "But, Mike is the living proof of one truth Nietzsche offered: What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Mike Rinder is perhaps the strongest man I know. Mike Rinder was and is a better man than I."

This is just one of many massive smears against anyone criticizing Scientology, although Marty Rathbun is now apparently smearing both Scientology and it's critics, and Scientology is either directly, or in most cases indirectly smearing anyone that criticizes them, including Marty Rathbun. They must have a massive propaganda machine creating all these web pages, a handful of which are listed below, smearing their critics; however they're so incredibly obvious that only those thoroughly indoctrinated in the cult or totally unaware of what's going on could possibly believe it.

They have to know that they're making themselves look bad and their lame rebuttals that Leah Remini routinely reads on her show have no credibility at all, and make her seem more credible, although if people look close enough they might realize that she still has her credibility problems, even though they're not nearly as bad as the Church of Scientology, and some of her efforts to expose cults should be accepted, although with a reasonable amount of skepticism, since they're incomplete.

Scientology doesn't have a monopoly on constant irrational bickering, of course; in fact, if you compare them to typical politicians you might find they have a lot in common, which didn't always used to be the case. Twenty or thirty years ago politicians at least knew how to do a better job pretending to represent the public; and a close look at some of the political research into how they study propaganda indicates they still know how to do a much better job pretending to defend the public, yet they routinely act like a bunch of irrational clowns, with the media only providing coverage for candidates they support even though they're almost all constantly getting caught in one scam after another, and there are grassroots candidates they refuse to cover who aren't involved in nearly as many scams, if any.

The current obsessive conspiracy theory promoted by the mainstream media about Russian collusion being used to rig the election for Donald Trump, which I've gone into in several past articles including Dude, We've Been In The Rabbit Hole Or Twilight Zone All Along! where I pointed out that mainstream media did far more to rig the election for Donald Trump by colluding with the Democrats to rig the nomination for Hillary Clinton, even though the vast majority of the public hated her, and providing obsession coverage for Trump for decades, which increased even more during the election season making him seem like the only viable candidate willing to stand up to corrupt democrats and media.

Nothing Russia could have done to expose this could possibly be as important as the mainstream media and the Democrats strategy to support a "Pied Piper" candidate, as exposed in some of the leaked E-mails, which might even raise the question of whether or not Russia was also colluding with the DNC and six oligarchs controlling the media to rig the election for Trump.

This sounds insane of course; however, so does everything else, so something insane is going on! I can't guarantee that all of this speculation is true, or even close; but I can guarantee that the official version of truth, either by the mainstream media, Scientology, many other religions, the critics of Scientology, and even many so-called scientific skeptics definitely isn't!

There's no shortage of information about Scientology on the web, but the following are some of the articles used as sources or for additional information, starting with a time line for alleged ties to the CIA, which is a strong possibility, even if all the details aren't guaranteed:

Dude, We've Been In The Rabbit Hole Or Twilight Zone All Along!

It is now standard operating procedure for the President and mainstream media to come up with competing conspiracy theories that are seriously flawed, while still trying to portray anyone that disagrees with either as fringe, even or especially, people that do good research and may come far closer to the truth than either of them!

Twenty years ago if anyone came up with the absurd conspiracy theories from either the mainstream media or Trump it would have been considered a fringe theory that only a nutcase would believe. If anyone had said that a clown like Trump could ever get elected to president twenty years ago that would also be considered laughable and no one would have believed there was any chance that it could happen.

There have been stereotypes about conspiracy theories for decades, although some of them have always been true, or at least close to the truth; and when they've been proven true they're often only reported in a low profile manner so that a small fraction of the public know about it. However, now the official version of truth repeated over and over again, by both the mainstream media and President Trump are as absurd if not more absurd as many of the conspiracy theories the establishment routinely ridicules.

Not only is the official version of truth more absurd than many so-called fringe conspiracy theories, but now it is a Conspiracy Theory!

How is anyone supposed to tell which is true, especially when the so-called experts on both sides keep making an enormous amount of blunders, and their supporters routinely ignore them and ridicule anyone that points them out?

If anyone wants to figure what's true they may have to start with the most fundamental principles, including learning the basics of propaganda and a few different basics from several different subjects. At first, when doing this it may became even more apparent that many of the things that we've accepted without question, including the core fundamentals of democracy, and many other things, have been wrong all along.

One of the most fundamental basic principles of propaganda is that "a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth" or at least it seems to, especially if it's not challenged. Right now the mainstream media often seems to expose Trump's efforts to use this principle, by exposing one obvious lie after another; however they're ignoring some of their own lies, or distortions of the democratic process.

One of the most basic principles of democracy and getting elected to higher office is that any viable candidate needs to start by getting name recognition, so that people will consider voting for him. Another basic principle is that the vast majority of voters simply don't have time to check all the facts on many different issues, and they rely on the mainstream media to provide them with simple basics.

Those that are accustomed to checking alternative media are much more likely to recognize that mainstream media isn't doing their job well at all, and even those that don't seem to have major doubts which is part of the reason that Donald Trump was elected.

Basically, by only covering a small fraction of potential candidates, that collect enormous amounts of money from the same corporate interests, the mainstream media is doing far more to rig elections than Russia ever could with this alleged conspiracy theory. The evidence to prove this was public before Julian Assange announced his first E-mail dump on the DNC leaks or hacks in June of 2016; in fact this practice has been going on for decades!

This means that even if there is something to the Russian conspiracy theory, which unlike many skeptics, I'm not ruling out, it's trivial compared to the massive amount of election rigging by both major political parties and the mass media. This is a propaganda masterpiece that has been going on for decades; in one election after another we're informed by the mainstream media which candidates we can choose from based on who they're willing to cover and include in their polls.

This includes 1987 when I remember being informed that Michael Dukakis would be our next president, which turned out to be false, but they did ensure that the nominees were limited to those covered by the media; in 1992 we were informed that we could choose between Clinton and Bush before the primaries took place, and when Clinton scandals broke out his dream team of James Carville and George Stephanopoulos came up with their rapid response team to win the day; in 1999 we were informed that the two nominees would be Bush and Gore and when there was grassroots support for McCain, Bush's political team, including Lee Atwater, used their dirty tricks in the South to defeat McCain; and similar activities for every single election before or after these with people behind the scenes

On top of that, after the 2000 election exposed an enormous problem with problems with one voting system after another across the country, especially in Florida where they had there famous "hanging chads," and worse, instead of fixing the system making it more reliable they made it even worse increasing the amount of electronic voting that might make some of them susceptible to hacking as Russian conspiracy theorists claim, and a variety of additional fraud a lot of which was reported by Andrew Gumbel in "Steal This Vote" or Mark Crispin Miller in "Fooled Again," focusing primarily on Ohio, and more that made the news in both Georgia and Florida this year.

The vast majority of voting manipulation can't possibly be done by Russia without much more help from leaders in both political parties in this country doing most of the rigging and using Russia to take the blame!

They're the ones that rigged the elections for Trump!

But that's just the beginning of the epidemic levels of fraud that's been going on for decades, and doesn't explain how they managed to get so many establishment pundits or politicians to go along with what looks like an insane senseless charade that's so absurd few would believe they would fake anything this insane, yet insanity is now routine.

A close look at history, some dating back decades, and others dating back thousands of years might indicate that there are even stranger things going on that most people would have a hard time believing, and that skeptics might justifiably claim requires "extraordinary evidence," which just might exist, although many skeptics have already indicated that despite their claims that "extraordinary claims requires extraordinary evidence," they routinely demonstrate that on the rare occasions where that evidence might exist they're often unwilling to acknowledge it.

However, even if there isn't something far-fetched that most people would consider out of the Twilight Zone going on, there should be no doubt that we need to have a much more diverse media covering all candidates, and reporting on wars based on lies, climate change, voter suppression, education suppression, and many other issues that many people that rely on traditional media might not be informed about, and won't realize what they're missing unless they check with alternative media, or we have major media reform preventing a fraction of one percent from controlling over ninety percent of the media!

But if there is something bigger than this then every time we try to come up with a rational explanation there might be another problem, until perhaps we wind up considering something as far-fetched as Ancient Aliens, which I've done and not surprisingly I was informed that:

I'll admit that this seems like a reasonable conclusion, and I would have come to the same conclusion before looking at some of the evidence; however, even though there may not be enough evidence to prove all the details there is enough evidence to raise major doubts about some of the leading scientific beliefs about our social evolution, and it's been around for hundreds of years, and additional evidence has been added throughout history of many other major unsolved mysteries which might be related, although I can't go into all of them in a relatively short article.

However there is extraordinary evidence of an major unsolved mystery that the mainstream media and traditional scientists routinely ignore or downplay in massive megaliths that can't be moved with ancient technology as proved in experiments to replicate them, which I pointed out in 107 Wonders of the Ancient World. Experiments moving megaliths up to ten tons were relatively sucessful, although they were very difficult and weren't good enough to explain the enormous volume of megaliths moved by ancient civilizations. Experiments between ten and forty tons cheated to get the megaliths on sledges then only managed to drag them short distances, at best, before giving up; and they didn't even try megaliths bigger than that. However ancient civilizations moved thousands of megaliths over fifty tones and hundreds of megaliths over a hundred tons, including more than a half dozen over seven hundred tons; the Colossi of Memnon weighing seven hundred and twenty tons were moved four hundred and twenty miles.

This isn't enough evidence to prove that it was moved by aliens; however it is enough evidence to prove there's major unsolved mystery, and that we should consider different theories, especially if there's additional supporting evidence, no matter how weak, until we can confirm or refute these theories.

There is of course an incredibly long list of UFO sightings that go back to the forties at least, and more if you go into historical records before they were recognized as UFOs, including the incident at Fatima (UFO Hypothesis Far More Credible Than Catholic Claim of A "Miracle Of The Sun"), which couldn't possibly be the Sun entering the atmosphere as the Catholic Church chooses to believe. Additional evidence of a major unsolved mystery includes Why so few arrests for Crop Circles makers? Is there microwave evidence? and Cattle mutilation

Many people may doubt that this is enough evidence to prove that aliens exist, perhaps with some justification; however, unless they can come up with alternative theories for these major unsolved mysteries or conclusively prove that they don't exist, the ancient aliens theory should be considered a reasonable possibility. This is especially worthwhile if additional research chips away at some of the obstacles that alien would have to overcome to travel from one solar system to another dozens, if not hundreds of light years away. Modern technology, including advanced propulsion, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, and much more, is rapidly chipping away at these obstacles, potentially proving that we could be come aliens for some other system thousands of years from now. If this does turn out to be possible then, it's also possible that liens from another solar system came here thousands of years ago and influenced our evolution for some undisclosed motive.

Furthermore, as I've pointed out in numerous article including a couple of my most recent ones, Who's Controlling Oligarchies Dividing The Market? Aliens? and Do Aliens own Stock in Monsanto, DuPont, or Microsoft?, there are an enormous number of educated rational people that have investigated this and claimed there's more than the government is telling the public, including a lot of politicians and high ranking military officials. Some of these officials have even gone so far as to claim that they've been involved in reverse engineering of alien technology, although most people making these claims have credibility problems. One of the most credible people making this claim is probably Philip Corso, who at times may have been more credible than his critics.

Not surprisingly some of the people that might be inclined to ridicule this theory include people that believe in a benevolent God including one that told me this "seems a little crazy" (1 & 2), despite the fact that he supports many of his own false flag theories, including ones that I consider irrational; however, not only did they not even try to explain how the ancient megaliths were moved or any other major unsolved mysteries but tehy ignore the fundamentals of their own religion, which Epicurus pointed out hundreds of years before Jesus was even born.

If many Christians were reasonably open minded, and they took their own Bible seriously they might find serious problems with the conclusion that god is benevolent and has the moral high ground that makes it reasonable for him to pass judgement over the human race. In Catholic Bible Exodus 14:4 it says that God "shall then make Pharaoh stubborn" and then he uses this as an excuse to show how great he is by terrorizing the Egyptians for disobeying, even though they were disobeying because that's what God made them do, which is obvious entrapment. And in Matthew 10; 34-7 Jesus says, "it is not peace I have come to bring, but a sword. For I have come to set son against father," turning family members against each other if they don't worship him and his God, coercing his own followers to blindly believe what they're told to believe by their leaders no matter how irrational their beliefs might be.

Of course that doesn't guarantee that the Bible is the literal truth; however, if God did inspire religion and this wasn't what he had in mind, or if he wanted to advise against the Crusades, Inquisitions, Holocaust, and many other atrocities that are partially a result of religion or misinterpretations of religions, then the least God, assuming he exists, could do is maintain an open honest line of communications, instead of limiting contact through alleged revelations, that are virtually impossible to confirm and are routinely interpreted in multiple contradictory ways. The phrase "with God all things are possible" is often repeated by religious people, and it comes from the Bible, but if it's true then God could easily do a much better job educating the human race than he has assuming that's what he actually wants to do, and that he doesn't actually have an undisclosed motive.

If God does exist and he allows all these atrocities to happen, even if you attribute many of them to Satan, then it's only because it must be what he wants or he can't prevent it, but even if God isn't all powerful, which seems unlikely, the least he can do is communicate and provide better advice. If turn about is fair play then according to Matthew 7; 16-7 "You will be able to tell them by their fruits. .... a sound tree produces good fruit but a rotten tree bad fruit," Christianity, along with other religions believing an all powerful and benevolent God, that allows Satan to tempt us without explaining why might be misguided, or an absentee landlord.

But why do so many people believe all this religious superstition? Nowadays, most people almost certainly don't but some of the most conservative so-called fundamentalists, still do; and the leading reason for that is that they're probably coerced from an early age to believe what they're told through intimidation and threats often using corporal punishment as I previously explained in Dobson’s Indoctrination Machine. When raising children in an emotional environment, with the threat of abusive punishment if they don't accept beliefs from their elders or obey orders, they're often much more likely to go along with the crowd and believe what they're told to.

What might be a more difficult question might be why secular people are so reluctant to accept that there're major problems with some of the official explanations of our social evolution or the insane political activity that is now routine, even though many of the researchers advising the political class really do know better, including how to rig election without looking so insane, or blaming it on an absurd Russian Conspiracy theory, when traditional media only covers corrupt politicians that cater to corporate interests. Or why the secular skeptics of religion aren't doing a better job teaching how early child abuse leads to more effective indoctrination of religious people as well as more violence later in life.

The best education on this seems to be limited to child psychologists, with very few people associating it with political insanity that is more common in states that still allow corporal punishment in schools, and presumably use it more at home as well; and these states also have higher murder rates. The nineteen states that allow corporal punishment in schools had an average murder rate in 2015-6 of 5.98 compared to only 4.54 in the thirty-one states that don't allow it, based on FBI statistics. These states are also the strongest supporters of Donald Trump, and in the primaries, they were the strongest supporters of Hillary Clinton.

And of course, anyone who's watched Ancient Aliens on the History Channel has to know that they make an enormous amount of incompetent blunders, that they almost certainly should have caught; but a close look at some of their claims like that ancient cultures couldn't possibly have moved these megaliths with technology allegedly available to them are close to the truth, even if they do get a lot of the weight estimates wrong.

If there is something to this theory, then this is almost certainly part of the reason why many secular people are unlikely to pay much attention to it; if they make so many blunders they might dismiss the whole thing as claptrap without even looking closely, which might enable them to disclose parts of the truth in a manner where most people won't believe it. However many of the most credulous people especially if they're not well educated or aren't accustomed to reading good non-fiction books or alternative media outlets, might accept an enormous amount of blunders along with the small amounts of truth that might be mixed in with this incompetent series.

If they want to do a good job educating the public there's no way they would report on this subject, or any other, in such an incompetent manner; which indicates the media and political establishment doesn't seem to want the public to understand science anymore than they want us to understand how they're rigging the economic system or leading us into one war after another based on lies.

Not surprisingly I was also asked, Serious question. Have you lost your mind? 11/15/2018 from someone involved in academic research who was apparently contacted by the ancient aliens about the plague which was her specialty, and she claimed they wanted to misrepresent her research, which seems typical of most of their reporting. She recommended that I look into archaeology to understand how they moved the ancient megaliths, which is a perfectly reasonable recommendation; however, I looked into that well over ten years ago, and the archaeologists don't come close to explaining how they were moved.

Instead many of them either avoid the issue or come up with incredibly bad spin that might seem good to people that don't look to closely, but once you realize that the experiments only go up to forty tons, and every experiment above ten tons cheated and still failed. The mainstream media doesn't even try to do a good job reporting on the fundamentals of this anymore than they report on the fundamentals of the plague, how early child abuse leads to escalating violence, the basic principles of democracy, climate change, or any other scientific subject that I know of.

They also have much more effective research about how they manipulate voters as well, and although they don't report it in ha high profile manner a large portion of it isn't completely secret either, nor can it be since some of their propaganda has to be public since the results are aired on TV. As I reported previously Frank Luntz confessed to sabotaging democratic process for clients and he studies how to manipulate people in his focus groups that he claims are to help improve the democratic process but it's not hard to see through this, and that despite his claims he's often studies how to manipulate voters emotions and prejudices, which is why he shouldn't be surprised at Trump's election.

The CIA and American Psychological Association has been studying psychological manipulation for decades as I explained in Philip Zimbardo, Lucifer Effect, Stanford Prison Experiment and Eli Roth’s Milgram/Obedience experiment much more extensive than most people realize which were supposed to be experiments to understand how to avoid creating people that blindly obey orders but they were supported by the Office of Naval Research, which Professor Alfred McCoy credibly argues is often a front for the CIA. But even if it's not a front by the CIA, the Office of Naval research isn't in the business of teaching their recruits to question orders, instead they teach them to blindly obey orders, because, as they falsely say in A Few Good Men "We obey orders or people die!" But in the real order wars are always fought based on lies; instead of saving lives, they cost thousands.

Zimbardo and Milgram's college professor, who according to Professor Alfred McCoy recommended the obedience to authority experiment to Milgram and may have recruited him for the CIA, studied what he called "groupthink," which may have involved researching how people are inclined to go along with the crowd, and are much less likely to consider new ideas unless there are other people with them to support their new beliefs. This can be very helpful when studying how to manipulate and control people, which is what politicians have been trying to do for thousands of years. In many cases when people do change their beliefs it's often sudden and dramatic, when going along with a crown; however, if this happens it's virtually impossible for them to check the facts on complicated issues, so it's almost always a result of manipulation or cult indoctrination, or something similar.

Education takes longer, and has to involve peer review. Is some things are repeated over and over again in education it should be the fundamentals, and they should make sure that they get them right, but they shouldn't be afraid to question them from time to time. If their beliefs are accurate they will stand up to occasional scrutiny. But if simple fundamental facts are clearly wrong it should raise major doubts about more complicated beliefs based on flawed fundamentals.

When you get down to basics there are some simple things that clearly don't add up. These megaliths can't be moved with ancient technology based on the experiments.

There's nothing remotely democratic if a small fraction of the public controls over ninety percent of the media.

And, a benevolent God wouldn't intentionally withhold advice that could prevent thousands of disasters, unless he had some other motive.

The evidence of these major unsolved mysteries might not be strong enough to prove that they're connected; however if Corso is partly right and alien technology is being shared then this is huge and it's virtually guaranteed to impact everything, and this political insanity is keeping people distracted for one reason or another.

Clearly there must be more to it than this; however there's enough evidence to indicate that the official version of truth is false, and that we should keep an open mind. This doesn't mean that I think the evidence is strong enough to believe without a doubt that it's true, just that it's a reasonable hypothesis, at least until someone can prove some of the details wrong or come up with an alternative explanation, which is the way science is supposed to work.

It's only the pseudo skeptics that come to the opposite conclusion that it can't be true, even though they can't explain how ancient megaliths were moved or many other unsolved mysteries, including why there are so many alleged revelations to people that were often considered prophets, and how they were able to convince thousands to follow their cults if there wasn't some very effective indoctrination methods present, often when there shouldn't have been.

Whether people take the ancient aliens theory seriously or not, it should be clear that there's a major effort by the oligarchs to undermine the Democratic process. Right now with all the activities to overturn the election results or suppress voter rights in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan and many places throughout the rest of the country it may seem like the Republicans are the threat to Democracy, and the Democrats are trying to portray themselves as the defenders of Democracy; however the reason the GOP was able to gain so much power was because the Democrats were exposed at their own election rigging, and they work for the same campaign donors.

If we allow either political party to control any reform that may or may not be coming then they'll just put in enough false solutions to keep people complacent, and go about with business as usual. If there's going to be a real solution to this, it will be a result of grassroots people educating them selves and controlling their own government and, if the media continues to cater to oligarchs, the public needs to drop them like a hot potato and rely more on alternative media outlets that are at least sincere even if they don't have as many funds.
