Is New Research Showing Fringe Alien Hybrids Are Possible?

The claim that there are alien hybrids have always been science fiction, or if UFO researchers made such a claim, even some with PhDs, then they always had serious credibility problems. Rushing to believe these claims would be clearly irrational, for now.

Typically there's almost always serious flaws on both sides of high profile discussions of this subject, at least if they go beyond the basic facts of various incidents. One of the highest profile examples where a UFO researcher claims he has what he considers solid evidence of alien human hybrids is David M. Jacobs, who has been writing about it for decades before going into retirement recently. Seth Shostak reviews someone who is still lecturing based on Jacobs teachings in Space aliens are breeding with humans, university instructor says. Scientists say otherwise. 05/25/2019 which refuters claims by Young-hae Chi and Jacobs, and seems far more credible than David Jacobs, especially when considering some of Jacobs back ground. In one of Jacobs books he makes a point of saying that he doesn't try to review the same memories twice; however, there was one exception where he accidentally did and retrieved memories under hypnosis that contradicted a previous session. Instead of speculating about the probability that at least some memories based on hypnosis might be false memories, he dismisses it with a weak defense and declines to double check any of the memories he's retrieving. His PhD. is in history not psychiatry or psychology, and he uses these hypnotic sessions to draw far fetched conclusions, which have serious credibility problems.

Even though Seth Shostak seems far more credible most of the time, he also makes his share of obvious blunders, which he should have caught. One of these may be the claim that "polls indicate that up to 6 percent of Americans claim to have been abducted by" aliens with a link to Why alien abductions are down dramatically 06/12/2016 which actually says "one in 25 respondents believed they’d been abducted by aliens," which comes to 4% the 6% reference was for people who "reported experiencing a hallucination unrelated to drugs, alcohol, or sleep," not abduction. There are few if any reliable polls about people who have been abducted, but I've seen a few, although 4% would be higher than any other I've heard of. A Washington Post poll comparing alien abductions to voter fraud claims 2.5% of people claim to have been abducted, which is the second highest I've heard of, although this doesn't seem to be the most credible either, and they assume that some people may have rushed through the survey. Perhaps a more credible report I've heard of comes from Is it normal to believe you have been abducted by aliens? July 2019 which says, "The prevalence of these beliefs is unknown, but estimates vary from ‘at least several thousand worldwide’,4 to 3.7 million in American alone.5" The high end of this estimate is just over 1%, and the source she cites is Jacobs and Bud Hopkins, who aren't the most credible ones, the lower end is about one in a million people claiming to be abducted, and comes from a more skeptical source. Seth Shostak seems to have picked the highest estimate and exaggerated it even more, which isn't very scientific.

Seth Shostak showed his bias even more in the end of UFO Files - The Day After Roswell (part 2 of 2) Season 2, Episode 6 first aired in 2005 (For first half see UFO Files - The Day After Roswell (part 1 of 2) Season 2, Episode 6 first aired in 2005) when he says, "Some people think that, for example, aliens intervened in 3500 BCE in Egypt to help build the pyramids. Well you know doggone it the Egyptians were perfectly capable of putting big blocks on top of other big blocks right? If the Egyptians had suddenly developed cell phones then I would say OK there's intervention there but that's not what they did." This claim is factually flawed, for starters the official date that the pyramids were made is closer to 2,500 BCE, which is a trivial mistake; more importantly, experiments have shown that his shouldn't have been possible with technology available to ancient civilizations.

I went into this more in 107 Wonders of the Ancient World which explains that ancient civilizations moved millions of multi-ton megaliths all over the world, including thousands over fifty tons, at least a hundred or so over one hundred tons, and more than half a dozen of those were over seven hundred tons, including the Colossi of Memnon, which weigh 720 tons and were transported 420 miles, to a slightly higher altitude. Yet experiments to move these with ancient technology only succeeded up to ten tons without cheating and with an enormous amount of effort; more experiments between ten and forty tons cheated to get the megaliths on the sledges that they tried to pull with a lot of people, and still only managed to inch them forward short distances. These experiments had enormous problems with breaking sledges and ropes. They didn't even try anything bigger, and even with modern technology it's incredibly difficult, implying ancients had a much better ability to move these megaliths.

This doesn't provide direct evidence to the theory that aliens are creating hybrids, of course; however, it does prove that there's a major unsolved mystery about our social evolution, that enabled them to move massive megaliths that should have been able to move. One possible explanation might be that they were influenced by an unknown advanced intelligence of some sort. The Ancient Aliens show and many other theorists think this might provide evidence to support their claims, however many more details need to be filled in; and the History Channel rarely does a good job doing that.

However, even though experiments still haven't replicated the methods presumably used to move ancient megaliths with primitive technology, there's a growing amount of evidence from traditional scientists showing manipulating the genes or DNA of various animals, perhaps even creating hybrids is possible. Twenty-three years ago scientist made the news with a story that went viral, for a while, about a mouse with an ear on his back. They claimed they were trying to learn how to help recreate human limbs. This apparently did not lead to the creation of human limbs, nor did it involve introducing human DNA and creating a hybrid. However, there have been numerous other stories that did enable them to recreate ears, or introduce human DNA to various animals that didn't get nearly as much attention.

Since then, in addition to improving the ability to recreate ears, using methods unrelated to the ear mouse, they've experimented with Human-Cow Hybrid Embryos, Sheep-Human Hybrids, Human-Pig Hybrid, and much more; however traditional media has hardly covered most of this, ensuring that outside of the scientific community hardly anyone knows about most of the scientific advances that have been going on. This doesn't fit the strictest definition of a conspiracy, since it's not completely secret; however, since it accomplishes the same goal it's very close.

About a year and a half ago scientists published a study, reported in this article, Scientists added human brain genes to monkeys. Yes, it’s as scary as it sounds. 04/12/2019, which discusses and experiment to introduce a human gene, MCPH1, to Rhesus macaque monkeys and described some of the results:
Of the 11 transgenic macaque monkeys they generated, six died. The five survivors went through a series of tests, including MRI brain scans and memory tests. It turned out they didn’t have bigger brains than a control group of macaques, but they did perform better on short-term memory tasks. Their brains also developed over a longer period of time, which is typical of human brains.

The article and related study discus how this gene makes humans more advanced than other primates, and how it developed in our own evolution, which means this experiment may help them understand the evolutionary process better, as well as how to manipulate it. Another news report came out within the last few weeks, Human brain size gene triggers bigger brain in monkey fetus 06/18/2020, which discusses another experiment to introduce another human gene, ARHGAP11B, into marmoset monkeys, which they sucessfully did, to but aborted the fetuses after 101 days, 50 days before the normal birth of a marmoset monkey and examined their brains finding out that it resulted in an enlarged brain for the marmosets, unlike the macaques, which still had improved memory as a result of the gene introduced to them. This experiment was done in Japan which may have what tehy consider higher ethical standards than China, although I'm not sure they adequately explain their ethical choices. A researcher, Wieland Huttner, says:
"To let them come to be born, in my opinion, would have been irresponsible as a first step, because you don't know what kind of behavioral change you'll get."

This may be true, but it implies that they consider it ethical to introduce the gene to the fetus, for the sake of science, but not to allow it to live. Most ethical guidelines are established by academics, as far as I can tell, yet they don't use themselves for their own genetic research. Those that are used for the research are often not capable of understanding the implications, nor are they likely to share the benefits, assuming there are any benefits. If you read enough research on ethics on the subject including "Medical Apartheid" 2007 and "Deadly Monopolies" 2015 by Harriet Washington, it becomes increasingly clear that one small, wealthy and well educated class of people make the vast majority of the ethical decisions, while animals or a much larger class of poorer and less educated people are used for research.

Not surprisingly, the wealthy people influencing ethical decisions tend to get the vast majority of benefits from the research, while the poorer people get substandard care and often are inadequately compensated to their part in the research, assuming they get any compensation at all. Well informed researchers like Harriet Washington and Marcia Angell author of "The Truth About The Drug Companies" 2005 that try to encourage tougher ethical standards are often overruled by allies of the pharmaceutical and health care industry, and often get much less if any media time to educate the public, especially in mainstream media, although they might get more attention in alternative media.

However, regardless of the ethics, the rapid development of many advanced technologies, including the ability to manipulate DNA and create hybrids with different animals or humans is chipping away at one of the arguments that might have been used twenty years ago against the possibility of alien manipulation of our DNA and the creation of human-alien hybrids, or even that they might have manipulated our DNA thousands if not millions of years ago. The argument that this couldn't have happened because it's simply not possible is much weaker that it used to be, since scientists are rapidly proving it just might be possible.

Furthermore, even though rational skeptics would still be justified to claim that UFO researchers still haven't provided hard evidence to show that aliens have been visiting for thousands of years and that they're sharing technology with our government and many corporations, there is enough evidence to narrow it down to two possibilities, generally speaking, and the alternative may be just as far-fetched, once you look at the evidence, assuming you do look at the evidence. Philip Corso, author of "The Day After Roswell," is one of the most credible and best known alleged whistle-blowers claiming that he helped share alien technology with corporations around the world, although even he has a few credibility problems; but there are many more. Richard M. Dolan is one of the more credible researchers and covers some more people claiming that reverse-engineering is going on in UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991 2009; although, he doesn't try to present this evidence as conclusive, which is reasonable, considering the information he has available. However, if you review these sources, and more, then it becomes clear that either there is something to their claims; or there's a massive effort, within the UFO community to make it seem as if there is.

Bob Lazar was another alleged whistle blower that claimed he worked with alien technology in 1989, about eight years before Corso's claims. In May of 1989, he made his claims anonymously, then appeared under his own name in November 1989; and it didn't take long for many people to raise major doubts ab out his credibility. However, he claimed that they used element 115 as a stable fuel for their crafts, at a time when there were only 109 known elements. This element wasn't synthesized until 2003; and it wasn't widely recognized until 2015. Many believe that he had to have inside knowledge to predict it's creation; however, he claimed it was a stable element, yet, to this day they haven't created any stable isotopes that could last more than a fraction of a second.

Boyd Bushman has also provided some disclosures in a bizarre video shortly before he died, Lockheed Martin senior scientist tells all, before he dies. Incredible! 10/24/2014 This was quickly ridiculed by many media outlets, Former Lockheed Martin engineer from Texas: I met aliens at Area 51 10/13/2014, with some degree of justification, including the fact that one of the pictures he holds up, claiming it was an actual alien, turned out to be a doll sold at Walmart. However, he had a much more credible background than Bob Lazar and was a former Lockheed Martin and Texas Instruments engineer, (Boyd Bushman employment history), who had twenty-eight patents for advanced technology. (Patents by Inventor Boyd B. Bushman) Why would a credible engineer manufacture such an absurd story, assuming it's completely false? If it's partially true why would he include obvious blunders like the Walmart doll?

If this was just one or two people telling crazy stories, even if they seemed to have a fair amount of credibility I might dismiss it and doubt if there was anything to it; however, there are thousands of credible witnesses to strange phenomenon, often from very credible people, including police officers, military men, professors, pilots and many more, although most of them don't claim to have direct knowledge of shared technology, or direct contact with the alleged aliens. This is actually quite common in research into UFOs. It may seem easy to claim that it's all just bunk; however these incredibly obvious blunders are often made by the skeptics as well; and there are some legitimate mysteries, like how ancient megaliths were moved, despite experiments that show it shouldn't be possible, indicating that there's something unexplained going on. There are also many other related issues, including thousands of alleged UFO sightings, Crop Circles, Cattle mutilations, other alleged mystical events and much more; in most cases there's extensive amounts of research available, although a lot of it may not be reliable. But it's difficult to completely dismiss all of these mysteries, even if many of them are seriously flawed, assuming you look at the evidence.

However, many so-called skeptics or skeptical organizations decline to look closely at these unsolved mysteries, instead resorting to ridicule or some other distraction tactic; one of the most brazen of these is so-called "RationalWiki" which refers to Boyd Bushman as "batshit crazy," crazy instead of doing a good job reviewing the evidence. Instead of debunking many unsolved mysteries scientifically they routinely make fun of anything they disagree with often claiming that shows like "Ancient Aliens" are unscientific, which is usually partly or mostly true; however, they're no more scientific, and there are often parts of the claims on Ancient Aliens that can be partly if not completely confirmed through independent sources with more credibility. Researchers that try to do this are rare, but high profile skeptics certainly don't do it.

Furthermore, even though Philip Corso didn't claim to share technology about manipulating DNA, if he actually shared any technology there's a good chance that others might have; and some of the technology he claimed to share resembles new technology that continues to advance after his death. In UFO Files - The Day After Roswell (part 1 of 2) Season 2, Episode 6 first aired in 2005 and (part 2 of 2) they discuss a headband that Corso claims to have shared and compare it to implants used by a paralyzed person to control a computer, which was developed after Corso's death. The handicapped person demonstrates his attempt to draw a circle, which wasn't very accurate at all, but in the early days of development the fact that he could partly control the computer was a major advancement. Since then they've improved on this technology even more and now this technology has advanced even more. There have been several articles in the past couple years discussing how these brain implants can now be used to control artificial limbs including Brain implants allow paralysed patients to move limbs 03/05/2018 and Implants enable man to control prosthetics with ‘thoughts’ 10/21/2019

We haven't reached the point where we have the technology to create "The Six Million Dollar Man" or "Darth Vader," nor is any overly dramatic use of advanced technology likely to happen, outside of Hollywood; however, we're coming much closer than most people would have suspected. This is just a small fraction of technological advances that have been escalating since Corso allegedly began sharing it and it has been escalating even more in the last twenty to thirty years.

Most people are unaware with most scientific advantages for the same reason they're unaware about the best research into UFOs or many other unexplained mysteries. Over ninety-five percent of the media is controlled by five corporations, and they hardly provide any diversity in their coverage. There's little or no doubt that if they wanted to fix many of the most obvious blunders from both the UFO theorists that are most inclined to jump to exaggerated conclusions and the skeptics that ignore evidence that doesn't suit their beliefs, they could and would have; leaving me to the conclusion that they may not even trying to do a good job, possibly as part of a cover up.

It's also pretty clear that, either there is an unknown advanced intelligence of some sort behind UFOs and many other unsolved mysteries, or there's a massive effort to make it seem like there is. Skeptics don't even consider this possibility, possibly because if they did then it might turn out to be even more far-fetched than the conspiracy theories they ridicule. Furthermore, if that was the case it still doesn't explain why we have technology developing much faster in recent history than ever before, yet we're doing senseless and idiotic things with it, or how ancient megaliths were moved, and many other things, including anomalies in crop circles like the blown out nodes that can't be replicated.

If there is something to this theory then it may include much more research on many other things, including climate change, weather modification, for other medical reasons including the current pandemic, and past ones like the plague. I covered this previously Were Ancient Aliens Experimenting With Humans during Plague Epidemics? when I pointed out that researchers at the time of the plagues knew little about what caused the worst pandemics and when they ended over three hundred years ago they had no idea why they didn't come back, and modern scholars don't know much more. There have been smaller outbreaks since then, which scholars have been able to study, but this wasn't the same as studying a massive pandemic as it happened, not that they would want to risk that. I also speculated about them researching the current pandemic in Fake Corona-virus Apocalypse?; this was written shortly before the pandemic spiked suddenly, indicating that it wasn't faked, assuming all our news isn't fake.

For one reason or another the second crop circle of the year clearly resembles COVID-19, indicating who ever's making them has expressed an interest. We should be cautious about interpreting riddles like Crop Circles, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that the creators of this might have an interest in it.

In Why so few arrests for Crop Circles makers? Is there microwave evidence? I pointed out that many of these Crop Circles have characteristics that can't be explained away easily like blown out nodes. A video pointed out to me since then also describes this characteristic and more, Why Crop Circles Are NOT Man Made 04/09/2020, showing that most of them aren't primitive hoaxes made by people with boards to flatten the crops, and that they can tell the difference by checking for these characteristics. Researchers like Nancy Talbott and Janet Ossebaard have demonstrated that the ones with blown out nodes and other unexplained characteristics are almost certainly made by an unknown advanced intelligence of some sort, which many people associate with UFOs.

For one reason or another, as far as I know, no one has listed any of the ones that were confirmed to have unexplained characteristics, or ones that were clearly home made. The vast majority of them don't have any clear messages, and may not matter that much, except to determine that they can tell the difference, but there are a few exceptions. One is the crop circle that seems to resemble the Corona-virus; Even if this is from an unknown advanced intelligence, there's no way of knowing for certain what it means, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they're conducting research on it, and dropping hints. Another exception is a crop circle that appeared in August 2002 in Hampshire, and had an alleged binary message that said “Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises. Much pain but still time. Believe there is good out there. We oppose deception.”

If this alleged message came from an unknown advanced intelligence of some sort, alien or not, then it's clearly deceptive; if they opposed deception they would communicate in an honest manner. If it was the same advanced intelligence that created the COVID-19 crop circle then they would explain why they're interested in it, whether they're studying medical treatment or not. If they were conducting medical research for our benefit they would communicate. If, on the other hand, they were using us for research subjects the way we use Marmosets or Macaques, then that could mean we are the sacrifices for scientific purposes. Even if it's not aliens that are using the poor for research we still have good reason to know that pharmaceutical companies and other health care corporations are using the poor for research and keeping most, if not all the benefits for the rich.

This theory is, of course, a work in process, since there isn't enough factual information available. There is enough information available to show there are serious problems with many of the supposedly scientific explanations for many unsolved mysteries, including UFOs. There's also enough information to show that if you look close enough at the best researchers into unexplained mysteries, which are not the highest profile ones, especially on "Ancient Aliens," then you might find they're closer to the truth the the traditional scientific community, and the media and political establishment. If they are using us for research, then there's still a chance for them to share that research for the benefit of us all; but this would require disclosure of what they're doing. They could use the research they do for the benefit of all people, just like scientists could use their research for the benefit of Marmosets and Macaques, if they wanted to.

Even without disclosure, we still have enough information to know that protecting all life, including wildlife requires reversal of the massive environmental destruction for short term profit; and giving the best available health care would require Single Payer health care, and an end to using patents, especially when the research is funded by tax payer dollars, enabling pharmaceutical and health care companies from gouging consumers.

But if they're planning to use this research, or what ever activities they're doing for the benefit of all, it would require full disclosure. This would quickly expose the fact that many of the claims that the government and media have been made are clearly false angering many of the people that previously believed them; however, they've hardly even done a good job pretending to tell the truth; so most people will already know they're lying about many things and might view this with cautious optimism, and a limited amount of trust, to see if they follow through.

Some people might argue that the public can't handle the truth, which is mostly if not entirely false; but even if it were true then the appropriate way to handle the situation would be to prepare them so they can handle the truth. This clearly isn't what the establishment is doing at all; although, they could argue that they're trying to use reverse psychology by doing such an incredibly bad job lying that even many of the most credulous start figuring out they've been betrayed. This could work to some degree, or perhaps it would only seem to work, but it would lead to an enormous amount of distrust and paranoia, doing far more harm than good.

This may seem insane to many people; but, it's no less insane than the entire political establishment promoting the most absurd clowns for political office, in both parties nominating extremists that cater to oligarchs no matter which one wins, assuming we continue to allow the establishment to rig nominations. If we did a better job teaching critical thinking skills, there's no way many of these incredibly corrupt politicians could ever win elections. And we would also need a media that covers honest candidates.

Edit 07/08/2020: the day after I posted this someone pointed out a video by Prof Jerry Kroth "A COVID-19 crop circle?" 07/03/2020 that makes an argument claiming that whoever made this crop circle, presumably aliens, was trying to advise us how to cure the pandemic. A large portion of his argument seems very compelling and may not be easy to dismiss. I was unable to hear the audio on this video, and it doesn't have close caption; however, a lot of it included text any way and I found an Amazon excerpt from the authors paper and the authors website so I was able to piece most of it together anyway.

First of all, if this was from aliens, and they wanted to advise us on how to cure the pandemic, possibly with help from research they've done on us, then the most effective way to do this would be to open up an honest line of communication and explain it to leading academic, and let the public know as much as they're capable of understanding. It wouldn't involve sending messages through crop circles, and nothing Jerry Kroth or anyone else can say will change that. It would be easy to acknowledge this and dismiss everything he has to say, which I'm sure many skeptics would be inclined to do, but that appears inappropriate, since a lot of his arguments seem very credible and can either be confirmed or refuted with scientific knowledge now available, although he claims that some of it wasn't available before the crop circle appeared, and additional information, which was discovered just barely before the crop circle was made, wasn't published publicly until after it was made.

Prof. Kroth explains how he consulted with various researchers into COVID-19 and explained how this crop circle matches many of the characteristics of it, except that the virus doesn't have an elongated tail about two or three times the normal size of the spikes. He concludes that this is magnified much larger than the others to draw attention to what he called Sp8, which is the part of the virus he claims that they should focus on to develop the cure. Scientists didn't begin to understand this until after the crop circle appeared, when they found out about it independently. The clear implication is that hoaxers shouldn't have had any way of knowing about this. After explaining the characteristics of the virus, he says the creators of this crop circle may have been trying to send the following message:
"You are currently suffering from a planetary wide viral pandemic. In order to make progress against this illness, concentrate your efforts on nonstructural proteins and their associated RNA mechanics which replicate the virus. You should also study the distribution of amino acids and peptides in spike proteins to help successfully immunize your species from the widespread mortality which would otherwise follow."

If his comparisons are accurate then whoever created the crop circle understood the virus better than our own researchers, although they confirmed these characteristics shortly after the crop circle was created. He raises some legitimate questions for skeptics including the following:
Are you aware that the knowledge of Sp8 was incomplete at the time of the Crop Circle's appearance? Are you aware that the knowledge of Nsp 3, 5, and fifteen were also extremely new at the time of the Crop Circle's appearance. One professor said he hadn't heard anything about NSP5 being a target for a vaccine or therapeutic? Are you aware that some of this research hadn't even been fully published at the time this crop circle appeared on May 29, 2020? One study published 3 days after the circle was first noted.

A good skeptic would consult with the appropriate academics to address these questions and any other ones in his video or related paper. Unfortunately this isn't typical behavior for high profile skeptics, who routinely resort to ridicule instead. If Prof. Kroth is right about the medical aspects of the virus and where to focus on for the cure, then it may support my theory that they're studying us for research purposes, and sharing the cure when it suits their best interests, not necessarily when it's in our best interests.

Another story that just came out said HIV patient in Brazil goes into long-term REMISSION and could be the first person to be cured of the virus using pharmaceutical drugs alone 07/07/2020 I have no way of knowing if this is related to alien research, assuming it's happening at all; however, if it is there's an enormous amount of benefit that we could get through disclosure, but they would have to communicate honestly to repair the damage done by their withholding of their advice and any activities they might have been carrying out.
