Non-violent grass roots reform and Democracy: October 2023

The most bizarre claims that the recent attack by Gaza spurring the current War are "False Flags" may not be credible as traditional media will be quick to remind us; however, their version of the current conflict and the history that lead up to it is heavily biased, demonizing the entire Palestinian people, despite the fact that Israel is routinely the greater aggressor inciting resistance, which they use as an excuse for further oppression. For the most part, I'll try to stick with the most credible evidence, and avoid far-fetched theories without adequate evidence, but enough of that evidence may be available, as I'll get to after focusing on the most credible sources.

Mainstream media polls may not be much if any more reliable than their reporting, but they show mixed results which show that too many people trust mainstream media without seeking out more reliable sources, but that young people might be better informed, perhaps because they're more likely to rely more on alternative media from the internet which might be much more reliable. One poll that came out recently said that 50% of the public thought that Israels response was completely justified, 20% thought it was partly justified and only 8% thought it was totally unjustified. If this poll is accurate it may show that most people trust traditional media way more than they should, which will be clear to those already accustomed to checking alternative media, or those willing to catch up on the true history of this conflict, whether it's from this article ans sources listed below or other alternative media, which isn't well reported by traditional media at all, and there has even been pressure to fire or censor those exposing media bias.

Another poll says that young people are much less likely to trust Joe Biden to handle the Israeli conflict than old people. This poll didn't specify why, but there's additional evidence to suggest that young people are more likely to check alternative media and less likely to trust establishment politicians. If there's any doubt about Israel stealing land the following maps, which mainstream media practically never reminds the public of, show how they're taking massive amount of land from Palestinians and it escalates every year. The first one shows Israel in 1947, and the second one shows the gradual take over of land.

Furthermore, there should be no doubt that Israel has been an Apartheid State for decades, and they're in a constant state of conflict with their victims killing at least four to one, often much more, on any given conflict, and they're passing that ratio as I write this, despite all the propaganda claiming otherwise, therefore, even though I don't support the October 7th attack, it's clear that it was not unprovoked. If you Google "Israel apartheid" you'll find that both Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch agree, but you shouldn't need their permission to acknowledge this. Israel has been stealing land from Palestinians for decades and building walls to control the movement of Palestinians making them go through checkpoints to get to work or shop and much more. How can any sincere person deny this is apartheid?

However, this certainly doesn't mean that all Jewish people are prejudice and want to terrorize Palestinians and steal their land; that's far from the truth. In fact, many of my best sources cited below are Jewish and they want peace and a reasonable compromise as much as Palestinian victims. But unfortunately many other Zionists are prejudiced and only listen to those supporting their biased and false version of history, and too many of them are in positions of power, including, of course, Benjamin Netanyahu.

For a much better detailed history of the stealing of land see Ilan Pappe "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" 2006 which was written by a Jewish historian, and for a detailed explanation about how much political power Israel has gained over both the political establishment see John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy" which was also co-authored by a Jewish historian neither of whom have an incentive to spin things in favor of the Palestinians, and they're among many other Jewish people telling the truth about their own history who hardly get any media coverage from traditional media; but fortunately there are many alternative media outlets coming much closer to the truth that traditional media and reviewing this shows an incredible bias in favor of Israel. This doesn't amount to a conspiracy theory since the best researchers rely mostly on credible sources that can be confirmed, although there is some evidence to show there may be additional conspiracies in addition to the most credible research, But Ilan Pappe, John J. Mearsheimer, Stephen M. Walt, and to the best of my ability, I don't rely on that more than I have to and there are plenty of sources below.

In addition to the strong biases described in Ilan Pappe, John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt's books there's also an enormous amount of evidence playing out in real time showing how incredibly biased mainstream media is in favor of Israel, despite their crimes; however, to recognize this it may require a critical look at mainstream media and checking alternative media for more reliable sources. Mainstream media has repeatedly covered many emotional stories from relatives of victims of the Hamas attacks or heroic people fighting for Israel, yet there are few if any similar stories from Palestinians, even though there are now more than two or three times as many Palestinians killed in this conflict, which is a lower than usual ratio. In most conflicts since the establishment of Israel for every one Israeli killed there are almost always between four and ten Palestinians killed, sometimes even more, and before the conflict is over, they may still match that ratio. This is the biggest attack by any of Israels opponents by far, which seems hard to believe, and I'll get to that more below, but it may also raise some more questions.

One Egyptian woman confronts CNN's Clarissa Ward on the border with Gaza 10/20/2023 about this pointing out their strong bias, although it got very little media attention in the USA and she said:

Where are your condemnations? Where's your channel (CNN) covering this? Cover this, say the truth. We understand your just an employee. You're just a puppet, you're just a mouthpiece. Come talk to me like a human being. Come talk to me like a human being. Thank you. I understand you have your foreign policy. No. I heard you. No. I heard you. Now you hear me. I understand you have your foreign policy. I understand you speak for your government. I understand you represent your government. That being said you are a country that claims free speech. Your customized democracy is actually what led to Hamas. And now we are watching an occupation; and we are watching the result of your silence; of your misrepresentation of Arabs.

After a week and a half of this war there were slightly more stories about suffering by Palestinians, perhaps because of many complaints like this woman expressed; however, even though there are many more Palestinians dying, and they've been victims of oppression and theft of land for decades, the vast majority of stories are from the Israeli side.

At least one of these examples involves the way traditional media treated both the false claims of forty beheaded babies and the disputed claims of who bombed the Gaza Hospital, which increasingly seems to be the fault of Israel after all. When the story of Forty beheaded babies came out many media outlets were quick to report it, but when it was exposed as a lie they "walked it back" saying it wasn't proven, but many of the original articles on the internet were never edited to show they were discredited, and it least of them added other stories that might be more credible to try to restore their credibility without admitting they were wrong about the first story. And Benjamin Netanyahu produced pictures of three dead babies, although it was unclear when or where they came from, and mainstream media, including CNN reported them widely. However there were hundreds, if not well over a thousand more Palestinian children killed, mostly if not entirely by Israeli bombs, yet mainstream media hardly mentioned them at all.

There are no shortage of videos or pictures, often much more credible than the ones provided by Benjamin Netanyahu, but traditional media refuses to cover most of them, including Horrifying video of victims in Gaza Hospital where they can't keep up treating them all. 10/14/2023; Palestinian child crying saying "My sisters have died, O, my sisters." 10/11/2023; Horrorfying video of medic treating badly injured and crying baby followed by other children victims in the background, which they can't treat all at once. 10/12/2023; and some from previous attacks on Gaza, Video of Israel bombing Gazans and injuring or killing civilians 05/16/2021 ("Israel Murders a Palestinian Family at a Time Israel Murders a Palestinian Child at a Time Israel's Goal is to Wipe off Palestine of the Map"), reminding people that attacking Palestinians has been going on for decades, even though our media and government ignore it and pretend these inconvenient facts never happened. There's also many admissions by older Israelis admitting they particiapated in these attacks including the ones here, Video of many older Israelis admitting they killed innocent Palestinians during 1948 Nakba, some with sincere regret, others that found it amusing, and some where it's unclear if they regret it. Some admitting to raping girls. 10/12/2023 This is only a fraction of the evidence showing Israels forgotten or censored past as well as current events. I can't guarantee that all of them are completely reliable, but many are from very credible sources, and there's many more listed at the end of this article.

When it came to the bombing of Gaza’s al-Ahli Arab Hospital, on the other hand, they were slow to report it, and failed to report many other lesser attacks on hospitals and schools. And when CNN first reported it they claimed that their report was based on a claim from Hamas, which many people considered unreliable, even though there were already many other sources at the time reporting on it, including the Palestinian government and the Washington Post. On the seventeenth there were at least two traditional media outlets, the Washington Post and Reuters that reported on it with little doubt that it was done by Israel; however, within twenty-four hours they edited their own articles to include Israels claim that it was the fault of Hamas or another Palestinian organization, and, in the case of the Washington Post, the original report isn't available on the Wayback Machine, instead this search shows seven attempts to save copies, but only one of them was saved properly, or perhaps the previous copies were deleted. In the past the only times I saw them unable to save a copy is when it was saved after the original article was deleted, it's unclear why these copies weren't saved properly. However, Archive Today did save one copy of "Gaza Health Ministry says death toll in Gaza City hospital blast rises to at least 500" 10/17/2023 which says "The Hamas-run Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip says at least 500 people have been killed in an explosion that it says was caused by an Israeli airstrike," without reporting Israel's denial. The original article, which I read before Archive Today or the Internet Archive archived it said Over 200 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on hospital, Gaza Health Ministry says 10/17/2023, but they changed the title at least twice, first to increase the death toll to 500, as the Archive Today copy shows, then to "After blast kills hundreds at Gaza hospital, Hamas and Israel trade blame as rage spreads in region" as it is as I write this. Some sources claim that Israel's "study" of the blast is conclusive, others claim it's disputed, and still others claim it was caused by Israel.

A similar thing happened with Reuters which originally posted an article on it saying At least 300 dead in Gaza hospital bombing, local authorities say 10/17/2023, which essentially blames Israel for the bombing with little doubt, but this was later edited to give Israel equal or preferential treatment in an updated version, In deadly day for Gaza, hospital strike kills hundreds 10/18/2023 In the immediate aftermath of the reports of the bombing there were many organizations around the world condemning Israel, many of which are listed below, but traditional media, including CNN were hardly reporting on this, and they reported that Biden was checking on it and didn't blame Israel, although it took a little longer for them to come out with their explanation which was widely reported more than the condemnations of the bombing by people thinking Israel did it.

And PBS also altered their reporting when it didn't suit the claims made by Israel as well; in an article posted immediately after the attack they reported, At least 500 killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza City hospital, Health Ministry says 10/17/2023 which said "If confirmed, the attack would be by far the deadliest Israeli airstrike in five wars fought since 2008." Then they edited it to reduce the alleged death and blame Hamas or other Palestinian sources saying Israel and Hamas trade blame after Gaza City hospital explosion 10/17/2023 updated 10/23/2023 This article says "This headline has been updated to remove a death toll from the Hamas-run Palestine Health Ministry, based on reporting by the Associated Press. U.S. and Israeli intelligence officials now say they have conclusively determined the explosion at the hospital grounds was caused by an errant militant rocket, and estimate the death toll is between 100 and 300;" however, as several more credible and unbiased investigations will show below, the first report blaming Israel was almost certainly true, and the vast majority of credible reports show above 400, possibly close to 500, people killed.

Many allies of Israel, including the Biden administration, the European Union, and a significant majority of traditional media accepted Israel's alleged investigation, although they didn't have access to the hospital, and some media outlets merely reported that it was disputed, with very few taking the side of the Palestinians. And the Biden administration went one step further when "Matthew Miller at the US State Department says he does not believe an investigation into the deadly Gaza hospital bombing is 'appropriate at this time'." This means they should accept a biased investigation as fact without asking for an unbiased investigation, which is absurd, especially since there are serious problems with this investigation the Biden administration and most of the media are ignoring, but it is being reported by reliable alternative sources.

One problem with Israels denial is that Netanyahu aide, Hananya Naftali, confirms bombing of Gaza hospital by Israel 10/17/2023, "on social media before swiftly deleting the post." However his quick denial doesn't seem very credible to many people, especially since many other Israeli officials made similar comments, as we'll see below, although most of them didn't admit to the bombing, but tehy do show a seriously flawed belief that they should be able to bomb just about anyone they disagree with. Another serious problem with Israel's claims is that Al Jazeera did it's own study according to What have open source videos revealed about the Gaza hospital explosion? 10/20/2023, which says "An investigation by Al Jazeera’s Sanad verification team found that Israeli statements seem to have misinterpreted the evidence to build a story that one of the flashes recorded by several sources was a rocket misfire." Many people may think Al Jazeera is biased for the other side, which may be true, but I doubt if they're as biased as Israel; and the same article reports that the U.N. is calling for an independent investigation, which the Palestinians, Al Jazeera, and others support, but Matthew Miller and the Biden administration, and presumably Israel oppose. If they were confident in their investigation it's hard to imagine why they would object to further fact checking.

Furthermore there has been another analysis from a source which is either unbiased, or perhaps sympathetic to Israel according to Israel-Gaza war updates: Biden welcomes release of US captives from Gaza 10/19/2023 Live page updated for two days before closing 6:00 PM 10/20/2023: which says "New analyses cast doubt on Israeli version of Al-Ahli Hospital bombing"

New analyses by the UK-based Forensic Architecture research group and the Earshot audio investigation group have again drawn into question the Israeli military’s account of the mass casualty bombing of Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday, which killed almost 500 people.

Both groups’ analyses specifically “cast doubt” on the Israeli military claim that the explosion at the hospital was caused by a failed Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) rocket fired from the southwest of the hospital, rather than an Israeli air attack as Palestinians have said.

Forensic Architecture analysed photos of the impact crater at the scene, saying that “patterns of radial fragmentation on the southwest side of the impact crater, as well as a shallow channel leading into the crater from the northeast” indicate the projectile likely came from the northeast – “the direction of the Israeli-controlled side of the Gaza perimeter”.

Chris Cobb-Smith, an investigator and explosives expert, also agreed the evidence indicated the projectile may have come from the opposite direction claimed by the Israeli military, according to Forensic Architecture.

Meanwhile, a so-called “Doppler Effect analysis” by Earshot, which looks at sound waves related to distance, found the missile likely approached from the northeast, east, or southeast, but not from the west as Israel’s military has claimed.

Earshot’s forensic analysis of an audio recording, purportedly of two Hamas fighters talking about a PIJ rocket released by the Israeli military, also showed that the audio was actually recorded on two separate channels and then edited together.

Additional details on this study are available in this string of tweets 10/20/2023, but the doubts about Israel's "investigation" keep growing, and a growing number of traditional media outlets seems to be saying it's "disputed" instead of standing behind Israel's investigation which they did when it first came out.

Sara El-Yafi, who may not be well known, also provided her own review, which I consider very credible. 10/21/2023 She estimates number of rockets fired by Hamas since 2000, before current conflict. She estimates that between 28,800 and 36,000 rockets were fired in this time period. She claims only 69 people, 2 goats and a number of cows were killed; and that Israel keeps a good record of them with all their names. She provides an itemized list with 4 Israeli children and 2 Palestinian children, 41 adult Israeli civilians, 10 Israeli solders, the rest Palestinians or other adults in the area. She claims that Hamas couldn't have blown up the hospital with their primitive rockets and demonstrates this by showing their rockets explode and comparing them to the explosion at the hospital, and that what was used was a US made and US supplied JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munitions). She also claimed that the Israelis called the Hospital three days before and told them to evacuate. She also provides a long list of similar activities by Israel and lies supporting her claims, which you can see on the video above, or follow the links listed below right after her video below.

Another review confirms Sara El-Yafi's claims that this was a JDAM, or more specifically a MK-84 in this article, Experts refute Israel's claims on Gaza hospital attack 10/18/2023 which says:

Retired military officer and ammunition specialist Engin Yiğit said there was a strong possibility that the attack was carried out with an MK-84 guided bomb, pointing to the absence of craters. Yiğit said considering the images of the moment of the attack, the probability that the ammunition was a JDAM-equipped 2,000-pound (910-kilogram) Mark 84 (MK-84) bomb increased.

He noted that Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) is the name of one of the guidance kits. "You can make the bomb guided with a kit that you attach to the front or back of MAK-82, MAK-83, MAK-84 bombs.”

"JDAM is a type of kit that allows precise delivery of the bomb to the target,” he said. "The said kit attached to the bomb makes the bomb smart and provides precision strike capability.”

Yiğit said there are several fuses to detonate the bombs and some can explode on impact, while others can explode at the desired moment and height before impact.

"Bombs with proximity fuses or proximity sensors may not create craters where they explode,” he said. "The hospital attack in Gaza may have been similar. How high the bomb explodes can be set by the user.”

This review appears to be the most credible one I've seen so far and it explains why there's no large crater, which Israel cited as their explanation why it couldn't be their bomb. Israel said that all their bombs left a three to ten meter crater, and the lack of a crater this large was proof that it wasn't theirs. However, the same argument could be made to claim that it wasn't Hamas's rocket as Sara El-Yafi argued. Another issue worth serious consideration is Sara El-Yafi's claim that if Hamas couldn't have bombed the hospital with their very limited resources, how could they have carried out the attack on October 7, which initial reports claim killed 700 people, and within a couple days estimates grew to a total of over 1,000 some, including the estimates repeated by Israel, the USA and traditional media outlets claim it was over 1,400? This is an important question, but as I said above I wouldn't call it a false flag or some other far-fetched conspiracy theory without good evidence. There may be more evidence showing some things are unexplained or that we shouldn't rule out something far-fetched, though, which I'll go into more below.

This establishes an incredibly biased point of view from traditional media; when false news like the stories of the beheaded babies are reported by traditional media they didn't go back and edit the original reports, instead partly "walking it back" by saying "there's no evidence to support these claims" without quite saying they're false, which is virtually guaranteed. This is especially true as demonstrated by Source of dubious ‘beheaded babies’ claim is Israeli settler leader who incited riots to ‘wipe out’ Palestinian village 10/11/2023, which reports on one of the original sources for this false claim, which came from David Ben Zion who is notoriously unreliable and is described "as a fanatical settler leader who incited riots by demanding a Palestinian town be 'wiped out.'"

While this claim was being knocked down as unreliable or partially "walked back" by traditional media, exposing the Israeli side of lying for propaganda purposes Netanyahu tweeted some pictures, Here are some of the photos Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. 10/12/2023, which CNN reported as reliable, even though they admitted that they didn't know when or where these babies were found, and they played up how horrible Hamas is for killing babies in such a horrible manner, even though, once again, their source had a history of lying, and more evidence of Netanyahu's lies are presented below, including many going back years, showing he's never been credible. CNN only showed one of the three pictures Netanyahu posted, claiming the other two were too horrifying to show. The tweet shows the other two were burnt beyond recognition, and although they probably were burnt babies, it can't be confirmed by looking at the pictures, which could be many other things. The one shown by CNN was a baby in a bloody diaper and clothing which wasn't torn, and the two legs and one arm that are visible don't appear to be harmed, and the head was blurred so it couldn't be recognized, but none of them were beheaded as Dan Cohen tweeted 10/12/2023 accurately saying saying:

1. None of these photos show evidence of beheading – let alone 40 of them.
2. There is no evidence that these photos are from Kfar Aza.
3. None of the journalists who visited Kfar Aza in the aftermath personally saw any beheaded or burned babies.
4. No families have come forward, none of the allegedly beheaded children have been named, and no photos of them from when they were alive have been presented.
5. Netanyahu is a notorious liar and is currently murdering hundreds of children in Gaza.

Furthermore, Netanyahu expected us to take these three pictures as evidence of how Hamas is "inhuman" or "monsters" however, not that I think killing any children is justified, there have only been twenty seven confirmed killing of children by Hamas, and the latest count indicates that Israel has now killed over 2,000 children, including babies, and there are plenty of pictures of them from more reliable sources including those reported by Israel-Palestine war: The world cannot stand by and watch this slaughter 10/14/2023 and Israel-Palestine war: The blood of Gaza is on the West’s hands as much as Israel’s 10/11/2023 among many more.

A couple days ago Margaret Brennan confronted Antony Blinkin on "Face the Nation," Oct. 22, 2023 Transcript: saying, "So, let's talk about how they do it. You're right to lay out just how absolutely horrific that attack was two weeks ago. Turning the page to what has happened during the following two weeks, UNICEF says 1,524 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip during these bombings. Why isn't the US calling for at least a temporary ceasefire?" He said "it's so important to do everything possible to protect them," but this doesn't include a cease-fire. How can he possibly claim he's "everything possible to protect them," when he refused to demand an end to the bombs killing a hundred children every day? This is an incredibly obvious lie. Her count of dead children was probably several days old when this aired, more recently Al Jazeera reported Gaza death toll tops 5,000, nearly half of them children: Officials 10/23/2023 "Children make up 40 percent of the dead since Israel started bombing the enclave, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health." And CNN confirms this reporting 2,000 children killed in Gaza, aid group says, as doctors warn fuel shortage is a death sentence 10/24/2023 And although this mass murder is on a bigger scale than it has been in years, if not decades, there's nothing new about it; they're constantly fighting each other ignoring their own atrocities while focusing on the atrocities of the opposing side, with Israel always killing many more people including children. The claim that Hamas's attack was unprovoked is totally false. There are many more stories of oppression of Palestinians earlier this year, as well as years if not decades ago, with killing or terrorizing of children, and stealing their land and other property a routine part of this, yet traditional media refuses to report on it, often even intimidating people telling the truth to pressure them to adopt the false establishment narrative.

Recently Rep. Rashida Tlaib drew fire for not apologizing for saying Israel caused Gaza hospital blast 10/18/2023, even though she is almost certainly right; and over a year ago Hill TV Censored a Segment on Rashida Tlaib’s Description of Israel as “Apartheid Government,” Bars Reporter 09/29/2022, which is also true. They report "Host Katie Halper recorded a segment defending Tlaib’s accurate portrayal of Israel’s government, but Hill TV’s owners refused to run it." Establishment media is reporting a false narrative and repeating it over and over again demanding everyone, including their victims agree with it, or calling them fringe "conspiracy theorists" even though many of them have much more credible evidence than the establishment.

Another brazen example of how hypocritical, or perhaps clueless supporters of Israel are Justin Bieber, Jamie Lee Curtis were slammed online for labelling images from war-torn Gaza 'Israel' 10/12/2023 They both shared pictures of devastation in Gaza assuming this damage was being done to Israel, which wasn't harmed nearly as bad as Gaza, either in this conflict or the many conflicts before this, then deleted them, without acknowledging any support for Palestinians, including children, as if it's acceptable when Israel bombs them. One of many social media replies pointed out the obvious hypocrisy in the following comment:

Cognitive Dissonance: Jamie Lee Curtis was deeply moved by this picture ONLY when she thought they were Israeli.

As soon as she learned they were Gazan, she lost all feelings for them & deleted the picture.

Suddenly, "terror from the sky" became acceptable to her & her likes!

Even if anyone accepts the highly unlikely claim that the Gaza Hospital wasn't bombed by Israel there have been many statements by many Israelis or their supporters indicating that they consider civilian Palestinians uninvolved in the Oct. 7 attack legitimate targets, even the children. In addition to Antony Blinken saying he wanted to protect innocent children including Palestinians, yet he wouldn't support an end to the bombing that's killing over a hundred every day, Knesset member Meirav Ben-Ari declared “the children of Gaza have brought this upon themselves.” 10/18/2023; Ben-Gvir another Knesset member Tweeted As long as Hamas does not release the hostages in its hands - the only thing that needs to enter Gaza are hundreds of tons of explosives from the Air Force, not an ounce of humanitarian aid. 10/17/2023 even though thousands of children who had nothing to do with the Oct. 7 attack were being killed by these "tons of explosions, and showing that even if they didn't bomb the hospital they still wanted to deprive them of the aid they needed to help the innocent victims; and Israeli President Isaac Herzog said or implied that all civilians in Gaza, including the thousands of children being killed were legitimate targets when he said “It is an entire nation out there that is responsible. It is not true this rhetoric about civilians not being aware, not involved. It’s absolutely not true. They could have risen up. They could have fought against that evil regime which took over Gaza in a coup d’etat.” 10/14/2023, and much more. few if any of Israels allies including Israeli President Isaac Herzog seem to acknowledge the fact that they're forcing Palestinians to live in an Apartheid State, while they constantly steal their land and other property and terrorize them.

These absurd attitudes didn't come about after the latest conflict; in a previous article World War II Could & Should Have Been Avoided, Zionists May Have Been Partly Responsible, in addition to explaining how World War II and the Holocaust could have been avoided, and the possibility that some Zionists, but not the vast majority of Jews, might have been partly responsible for enabling it, I also pointed out some of the extreme views of many Zionists, including citizens as well as members of the government, which is totally ignored by our media. Miri Regev, a government official holding many jobs over the years said, "I am happy to be a Fascist!;" Eli Yishai a former member of the Knesset said "We must blow Gaza back to the Middle Ages destroying all the infrastructure including roads and water;" Gilad Sharon, Ariel Sharon's son and an Israeli columnist said "There should be no electricity in Gaza, no gasoline or moving vehicles, nothing .... We need to flatten entire neighborhoods ... flatten all of Gaza."; Michael Ben-Ari, Member of the Knesset said "There are no innocents in Gaza. Mow them down ... kill the Gazans without thought or mercy;" and Ayelet Shaked a former Minister of Interior, Minister of Justice and representative in the Knesset, who said "Mothers of all Palestinians should also be killed as they give birth to little snakes ... the entire Palestinian people is the enemy ..... including its elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure." And there's much more where that came from!

Our media is acting as if Israel can do no wrong!

Why aren't they reporting the vast majority of news about Israel which shows this assumption isn't close to the truth, including these extreme comments by many of the people controlling their government or media? If they did, it would make it clear that those controlling the government, and a significant portion of the public are fanatic war mongers supporting ethnic cleansing or genocide!

Why aren't they reporting on the fact that Israel has always killed at least four times as many people if not much more in all their conflicts with Palestinians while stealing their land, and they're now past that point with this conflict. At the latest count, that I know of, they killed about 87 children for every one child killed by Hamas on Oct. 7, and attacks within Israel haven't continued since then.

That's right, since Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Hamas were "inhuman" and "monsters" for killing children he has been killing about 87 children for every one of the children killed by Hamas, which, according to the most complete account available is only 27, even though I think that's way to many, but the latest count available for Palestinian children killed is 2,360 according to More than 700 killed in overnight Israeli attacks, Gaza officials say 10/24/2023 which also says the latest count for Palestinians killed is at least 5,791; another source puts it at more than 6,500 but they claim this is unconfirmed. 10/25/2023 Most sources say more than 1,400 Israelis were killed in the initial attack on Oct. 7 or shortly afterwards, before Israel ensured there were no more attacks from Gaza on their side of the border, but half of them were not named, which Israel usually does, in Hostilities in the Gaza Strip and Israel | Flash Update #16 10/22/2023 they named 767 of those killed and reported that only 27 Israeli children were killed in that attack, and that since then another 27 Palestinian children in the West Bank were killed, in addition to the thousands of children killed in Gaza.

Another article says Authorities name 309 soldiers, 58 police officers killed in 2023 terror clashes 10/08/2023, which means that almost half of those allegedly killed by Hamas, at least among those named, were not civilians. There's no credible sources about how many Hamas soldiers were killed by Israel that I know of, but we have enough information to know that more than 40% of those killed are children and the vast majority of deaths were caused by massive bombing where the Israelis don't even know who they're killing, even though they often claim they're "Hamas targets," but many of these so-called "legitimate targets" are hospitals, schools, mosques, homes, and many other targets where there are an enormous amount of civilians not involved in the conflict. I can't say for sure, but my best guess is that over 90% of the people killed by Israel are civilians, and this could be as much as 97% or more for all I know. But, as shown by the fanatical quotes I cited above, many Israelis seem to think they can kill anyone with justification, which sounds a lot like the Nazis, as shocking as that may be.

And, of course, there's much more than that. Even if Israel were right about not bombing that hospital that time, which is highly unlikely, there were 115 other attacks on hospitals in the most recent conflict as well as dozens if not hundreds of attacks on schools, mosques, homes, in this conflict as well as many more in many previous attacks. I don't know how often they bomb Gaza, but while searching the internet I found stories of bombing raids in 2014, 2021, 2022, Spring of 2023, and I have no doubt that there are many more. Committing illegal war crimes has been standard operating procedure for Israel for decades, including the killing of dozens of journalists, some that have been proven to be intentional. Yet the traditional media is hardly reporting on it at all, which is incredibly hypocritical, and could even put themselves at risk.

Since the most recent conflict escalated there have been at least a couple dozen journalists killed according to several sources including Journalists more vulnerable than ever to getting killed as ‘impunity' prevails 10/27/2023 which says "At least 27 journalists have been killed in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists," and according to the Meme above, which provides names that can all be fact checked, although I haven't done this yet, there were at least thirty. This has been a significant increase in the number of journalists killed in the past, but this is not something new, Israel has been killing many journalists all along, which is a clear war crime. According to Wikipedia: List of journalists killed during the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, which also provides names that can be fact checked, there are at least thirty three journalists killed between October 2000 and October 6, the day before the current conflict began, not counting at least twenty-seven more, and, if anything, Wikipedia would be cautious not to add false names on this subject. Another source claims that there were 55 Palestine journalists killed by Israel since 2000 09/09/2023, not counting the most recent one listed on Wikipedia or the ones from the current conflict, which happened after this was reported, which means that at least fifty-eight, and possibly as much as eighty-six journalists were killed in Israel, or mostly their occupied territories, and most, if not all were killed by Israeli forces.

In at least a few cases there's evidence to show that Israel intentionally targeted journalists, perhaps the most famous was Shireen Abu Akleh, according to Israeli Forces Deliberately Killed Palestinian American Journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh, Report Shows 09/20/2022, but according to other sources, many listed below, there were other journalists intentionally targeted, and other times where they knowingly targeted areas where they expected journalists to be. Yet these stories are mostly only reported by lower profile media, not mainstream media.

CNN and other news outlets hardly provided any coverage about these dead journalists yet they provided plenty of coverage when CNN’s Clarissa Ward Dodges Missile Attack While Reporting Live from Israel 10/11/2023, which to be honest with you, I thought it seemed exaggerated when I first saw it. CNN later slamed 'fabricated, inaccurate' video of correspondent Clarissa Ward taking cover in ditch on the Israel-Gaza border as rockets fire overhead after it went viral 10/14/2023, that allegedly included fake audio about someone instructing them how to act as it went on, which I don't doubt was faked. However, it still seems exaggerated, and the rockets were never as close as they implied, although they might have thought they were, nor were they as much of a threat, as Sara El-Yafi pointed out in the video cited above, and CNN would have known this if they wanted to. The best video of this incident I found was CNN team ducks from 'massive barrage of rockets' near Israel-Gaza border 10/09/2023 and it doesn't show them being close to the rocket fire before, during or after the rocket scare, where the rockets presumably went overhead but didn't land close to them. It shows them getting right back up less than a minute after the scare, implying it wasn't as serious as they made it seem, and she began reporting immediately, presumably on things she was briefed on before the rocket went overhead. They showed a burnt out car and a truck being loaded then, but both these were damaged or abandoned two days earlier, not in the rocket scare.

Even if this wasn't exaggerated, as CNN claims, it's not nearly as important as dozens of journalists that actually lost their lives, which they didn't report on. It's well recognized that journalists should never be targeted in war, as it should be; and I don't want to say anything to change that. However, by ignoring incidents where it does happen when our allies do it, traditional media raises doubts about whether it's as important when the journalists are mostly Palestinians or neutral and exposing crimes committed by an ally. There can be no doubt that CNN and other media outlets think their own reporters should be kept safe, but by ignoring other journalists targeted they make it seem like a double standard; and even though I wouldn't recommend it, others might see this double standard as a justification to target journalists providing propaganda cover for Israel. The same, of course, should go for Julian Assange, who the media often portrays as a legitimate security risk even though what he did was release evidence of war crimes by our own government, while traditional media provides propaganda cover for these war crimes.

The implied principle is honest journalists are legitimate targets, but those covering for the most powerful are not; which many people may see through. If they want people to respect the rights of journalism it has to go both ways, which is why they might be endangering their own journalists with this attitude.

Several other major unexplained problems with this attack is how did Hamas manage to pull this off with their limited resources when, as Sara El-Yafi pointed out they couldn't possibly have had the resources to pull off the attack on the hospital, which also implies they shouldn't have had the resources to pull off the October 7 attack either. This includes the fact that US intelligence warned of the potential for violence days before Hamas attack 10/13/2023 and Egypt intelligence official says Israel ignored repeated warnings of ‘something big’ 10/09/2023 yet they did nothing to prepare for it, and were taken totally by surprise. On top of that, Hamas militants trained for its deadly attack in plain sight and less than a mile from Israel’s heavily fortified border 10/12/2023, yet they didn't see them, even though this is one of the most militarized parts of the world, and they have the most advance surveillance equipment in the world.

At the beginning of this article I said I was going to try to stick with facts with sources to support them, and avoid "false flag conspiracy theories" without evidence. But we do have evidence of something that hasn't been explained well at all, and, despite the many flaws of "false flag conspiracy theories" they could answer these questions; however they would raise many more questions which would have to be answered before they could be considered a viable theory. In order for those theories to be viable they would require a massive motive which hasn't been explained, and they would require cooperation from many people to pull it off in secret, which is highly unlikely.

But without a far-fetched theory how could Hamas pull this off and catch Israel by surprise?

We don't have enough information to completely rule in or out far-fetched conspiracy theories; but we do have enough information to conclude we're not getting the full story, no matter what the explanation is, and even Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that recently.

Once again, I certainly don't want to imply that all Jewish people support these atrocities, that's far from the truth, and many of them are much better informed and are protesting abuse of Palestinians including those described here, Israel’s Violence Will Never Bring “Safety” to Anyone, Including Jews 10/18/2023 which says "As anti-Zionist Jewish journalists, we grieve and struggle against the ongoing colonization, occupation, apartheid and genocidal campaign against Palestinians, carried out by a government that is cynically invoking the names of Jews to intensify the oppressive policies it was already invested in." There are many other similar protests by well informed Jews, some listed below; and many other Jews also disagree or have doubts, but are less vocal, and some of them may only be guilty of trusting unreliable leaders.

The Palestinians in Gaza offered an active, robust non-violent campaign.
Did we notice? Did we support them?
Did we march in solidarity?
Did we grieve with them when they lost their children to the resulting violence?

Do we know that most of the drinking water in Gaza is toxic?
That Israel restricts the amount of food that enters Gaza?
That electricity is turned on only hours a day?
That most people cannot leave?
That Israel decides who is sick enough to receive medical care outside Gaza?
That Israeli settlers recently stormed a holy Mosque?

When freedom of movement, access to health care, food, clean drinking water, and theft of land is the constant
when efforts to expose the truth and demand change are met with violence
when children are imprisoned over and over again for being young and able bodied and free thinkers
when your holy shrine, the place you pray in faith for succor and hope, is violated
when you cannot leave the hell imposed upon you,

how can anyone be surprised that some would organize themselves to fight back

I've heard it said: if we cannot control how we live, then we will control how we die....
how desperate must you be to choose the wrath of Israel's (supported by the US's) military might?

There was never a case to create this Jewish state without the local population being suppressed and expelled. There is a law prohibiting Holocaust deniers, but in Israel no one is allowed to mention the Nakba, although it is related to the core idea of establishing the State of Israel.

I visited the Occupied (West Bank) during the first Indifanta.

I cried every day for two weeks with what I've seen.

The barbarity of the occupation, the constant petty harassments, the killings, the uprooting of Palestinian olive trees, the revocation of the right to drinking water, the humiliation... this has continued, and now things are much worse since then.

It is the largest ethnic cleansing operation in the 20th and 21st centuries.

I could land in Tel Aviv tomorrow and ask for and obtain citizenship immediately.
But my Palestinian friend in Vancouver, who was born in Jerusalem, can't even visit her!
Well, you have these depraved people stacked in what many call an “outdoor prison”.

You don't have to support Hamas policies to defend Palestinian rights.

Among them are little children. The funeral service was performed by Metropolitan of Tiberias Alexios.
