The Ministry Of Truth That Cried Wolf

Facebook is going on another censorship binge, either that or it's been going on all along, but went unnoticed by many for a while. While social media was giving people an opportunity to reduce the inequality of media with a small number of corporations, only six since the late nineties, controlling over 95% of national news; now the oligarchs are trying to roll back any improvements we make by spreading the most important news at the grassroots level.

They argue that "fake news" justifies fact checking, and there certainly is a lot of false news at both the grassroots level and in the mainstream media; however, there so-called experts clearly cater to the political establishment, often refuting claims against some of the most powerful people like Barack Obama and Donald Trump, while ignoring the way the elites rig the political establishment in their own favor, or falsely refuting those of us who try to expose it. Both Trump and Obama have recently benefited when memes criticizing them were initially marked as false or misleading then completely censored.

Donald Trump has argued that he's often censored by Twitter or Facebook, with a limited degree of truth; however, since he's a celebrity, this censorship often increases the amount of attention given to his absurd comments, whether people believe them or not. Furthermore, he has a history of suing his critics trying to silence them, often relying on non-disclosure agreements, and attempts to use other forms of censorship.

Obama may do a better job pretending to oppose censorship and spinning it when he supports it; but that only makes him more insidious. The absurd conspiracy theory about Russia meddling in our election, which Obama and the entire Democratic Party and traditional media all supported. The fact that the Democratic Party and the media were rigging the nomination was clear before the DNC or Podesta leaks in 2016. This is standard operating procedure.

In order for a candidate to become viable the first thing they need is name recognition, before even considering the issues. It's been standard operating procedure for decades for the consolidated media, working with the political parties to provide obsession coverage for candidates the Wall Street establishment supports. The evidence of this can never be hidden since the coverage has to be public; and those of us that have checked out alternative candidates that have been around all along realize they've been censored all along. They rig elections by rigging the coverage.

When the E-mails were leaked, regardless of how or why, they exposed some additional details of how they do this. Even if Russia was responsible for this, which I doubt, they couldn't have done nearly as much to influence the elections as the oligarchy media and political parties, all catering to Wall Street. This is the main excuse they've been using to increase the demand for censorship since then. The political establishment has been repeating their own deceptive propaganda over and over again without allowing grassroots to challenge it in a high profile manner.

Facebook has been marking several Memes, including the one shown below, as false or deceptive forcing people to click on it acknowledging that they read this before seeing it, but then deleted them within a week or so. My response to one of them before they deleted it was "The Ministry of Truth, which fact checked this, is more biased than the Meme, which might have some problems, but the general idea is true!" 07/24/2020

When it was still up and they added the disclaimer they also provided a link to an article allegedly debunking it, which I can't find now that it's been deleted; however, I found this one, which might be the same, Obama did not sign law authorizing federal agents to ‘snatch’ Portland protesters 07/22/2020, and claims that the White House cited 40 U.S Code 1315 signed into law by George W. Bush as justification for their actions in Portland. Other Memes like this one may also have been deleted.

Technically, they might have a small point; however, the more important point is that both political parties routinely sign legislation chipping away at constitutional rights including the 2011 NDAA bill, which according to President Obama Signs Indefinite Detention Bill Into Law | American Civil Liberties Union 12/31/2011 Anthony D. Romero, ACLU executive director said,
“President Obama's action today is a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law. The statute is particularly dangerous because it has no temporal or geographic limitations, and can be used by this and future presidents to militarily detain people captured far from any battlefield. The ACLU will fight worldwide detention authority wherever we can, be it in court, in Congress, or internationally.”

Even if this law doesn't enable Trump's actions in Portland, it does enable similar actions all over the world. It should be any surprise that if they're willing to do this abroad they may be willing to do it here, especially when you consider we fight one war after another based on lies, and they're inciting retaliation instead of defending freedom. The ACLU also pointed out How Big a Deal is H.R. 347, That “Criminalizing Protest” Bill? 03/08/2012 which may not be quite as extreme as the NDAA; however, when you consider that Barack Obama won the election in 2008 by promising to do the opposite; not only was he saying that he wouldn't suppress protests, but he promised to "put on a comfortable pair of shoes" and "walk on that picket line with you, as president of the United States of America." But, of course, when the protests against Scott Walker in Wisconsin and Occupy Wall Street protests came around he did no such thing.

In a functioning democracy when people have legitimate grievances and bring them to the attention to the government, the government addresses them and the media reports on them enabling the public to learn about issues; in our government they're slowly chipping away at our right to protest and only covering candidates supported by the oligarchy so honest candidates can't attract enough attention to get elected. This is just one of many examples where Democrats have given Trump the legal power and financing to chip away at constitutional rights despite their political rhetoric.

In Dems' Sternly Worded Letter Won't Stop Fascism 07/20/2020 David Sirota points out that a few days after the Democrats expressed outrage about the use of the Homeland Security Department to take part in Portland arrests they advanced a bill to finance it without any restrictions on these action. He also points out numerous other efforts that hey did to finance ICE, CBP and other federal departments without providing any conditions that would require him to respect basic rights, which shouldn't be necessary since the Constitution should prohibit many hings he's doing.

He also points out how they also repeated renew the Patriot act and increase his military budget, which is almost as big as most of the other countries in the world combined. The Democratic establishment routinely passes a large amount of legislation benefiting corporations and billionaires while ignoring the working class, or worse, suppressing their rights to protest and organize.

Facebook is also censoring critics of Trump in some cases including deleting a meme covering the lawsuit that was withdrawn just before the 2016 election, that hardly got any attention by mainstream media at the time. I can't be certain that the meme below is the same exact one that was deleted, since I didn't save a copy from the same source but when I saw this meme and that it was flagged as misleading or false my response was The Ministry of Truth has told us what to think; however, I've looked into this story, and it's at least partly true, and she was intimidated into withdrawing her lawsuit! 07/19/2020

If the meme that was deleted wasn't the same exact meme as above, it was close; and, it was mostly if not entirely true, like this meme, and there are records and news stories to back it up. The following was an excerpt from the the firs lawsuit Katie Johnson filed in California, which was thrown out, before it was refiled in New York:

Plaintiff Katie Johnson v. Defendants Donald J Trump and Jeffrey E Epstein California 04/26/2016

FACTUAL ALLEGATIONS

5: Plaintiff Katie Johnson alleges that Defendants Donald J Trump and Jeffrey E Epstein did willfully and with extreme malice violate her Civil Rights under 18 U.S.C; 2241 by sexually and physical abusing Plaintiff Johnson by forcing her to engage in various perverted and depraved sex acts by threatening physical harm to Plaintiff Johnson and also her family.

6. The Plaintiff, Katie Johnson, alleges she was subject to extreme sexual and physical abuse by the defendants Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey E. Epstein, also did willfully and with extreme malice violate her Civil Rights under 42 U.S.C. ; 1985 by conspiring to deny Plaintiff Katie Johnson her Civil Rights by making her their sex slave.

7: Plaintiff Katie Johnson alleges she was subject to extreme sexual and physical abuse by the Defendants Donald J Trump and Jeffrey E Epstein including forcible rape during a four-month time span covering the months of June-September 1994 when Plaintiff Johnson was still only a minor of age 13.

8: Plaintiff Katie Johnson alleges she was enticed by promises of money and a modelling career to attend a series of underage sex parties held at the New York City residence of Defendant Jeffrey E Epstein and attended by Defendant Donald J Trump.

9: On the first occasion involving Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was forced to manually stimulate Defendant Donald J Trump with the use of her hand upon Defendant Trump’s erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm.

10: On the second occasion involving Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was forced to orally copulate Defendant Trump by placing her mouth upon Defendant Trump’s erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm.

11: On the third occasion involving Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was forced to engage in an unnatural lesbian sex act with her fellow minor and sex slave, Maria Doe, age 12, for the sexual enjoyment of Defendant Trump. After this sex act both minors were forced to orally copulate Defendant Trump by placing their mouths simultaneously on his erect penis until he achieved sexual orgasm. After zipping up his pants, Defendant Trump physically pushed both minors away while angrily berating them for the “poor” quality of their sexual performance.

12: On the fourth and final sexual encounter with the Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was tied to a bed by Defendant Trump who then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff Johnson. During the course of this savage sexual attack Plaintiff Johnson loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to “please wear a condom”. Defendant Trump responded by violently striking Plaintiff Johnson in the face with his open hand and screaming that “he would do whatever he wanted” as he refused to wear protection. After achieving sexual orgasm Defendant Donald J Trump put his suit back on and when Plaintiff Johnson, in tears, asked Defendant Trump what would happen if he had impregnated her, Defendant Trump grabbed his wallet and threw some money at her and screamed that she should use the money “to get a fucking abortion”. Complete article

The first lawsuit was filed without any legal help, and there were numerous mistakes leading to it being dismissed on technical grounds, without even trying to figure out whether it had merit. The judge even recommended that she be forced to pay the legal expenses, even though she had less than three hundred dollars to her name. This is a clear and obvious indication that civil law is rigged so that only those that can afford it can file lawsuits, so rich people can file lawsuits against the poor, even without merit; but poor people may often not be able to file lawsuits against the rich, even when they have merit. Before she was done she had help from Lisa Bloom and another lawsuit was filed in New York, Plaintiff Katie Johnson v. Defendants Donald J Trump and Jeffrey E Epstein New York 06/20/2016

This lawsuit was hardly mentioned at all by mainstream media, but there were a few establishment outlets with a lower profile than cable or network news that did cover it and both Snopes and Vox confirmed the details in the meme. She did get death threats and apparently Lisa Bloom can vouch for this. Vox went into a little more detail of some of the pattern of behavior behind Trump and Epstein than Snopes, confirming that the claims also fit a consistent pattern of behavior for accusations against both Trump and Epstein.

There was plenty of evidence showing that this fit a pattern of behavior in 2016, when this case was filed, but since then much more has come out, especially against Jeffrey Epstein, strengthening the pattern of behavior. The strongest direct evidence comes from Katie Johnson and at least one, possibly two corroborating witnesses; and Trump's claim is that they lied, of course. This is a routine claim from powerful people, including Joe Biden, who also claims that Tara Reade's claims and other accusations from other women accusing him as well are all false, stating or implying that they're liars. However, there's little reason to believe many of these women are inclined to take the risk of accusing powerful men like Trump or Biden, since they routinely retaliate against their accusers, often with the help of other people or institutions that are biased toward the rich and powerful.

With six corporations controlling over 95% of national media the billionaires have a massive propaganda advantage enabling them to push their ideology and only cover candidates they support, including fake progressives like Barack Obama, that make all kinds of promises to the grassroots they never intend to keep while refusing to cover honest candidates, ensuring all we get are crooks in office. In a fair system we shouldn't have to choose between to Wall Street puppets credibly accused of rape; but, of course the billionaires use their control of the media with this as the result.

For a while Social Media was enabling a relatively small percent of the public to expose this epidemic fraud; although, even at the best we were only able to reach a small percentage of the public at any given time. In the past few years powerful institutions have been making incredibly bad excuses, often with the help of politicians that pretend to be progressive. Now they're using these bad excuses to suppress speech from the grassroots, but not from the rich and powerful, although occasionally they try to make it look like they are.

Breaking News: Chicago Attackers Weren't Born As Violent Adults!

If declaring racial violence a "Hate Crime" and demanding higher punishments and that everyone condemn it without trying to figure out what the root causes of violence are was the best way to solve these problems then it would have already worked to reduce it much more by now, since we keep repeating the same emotional appeals acting as if hate magically appears in adulthood.

Judging by the way the mainstream media and political establishment treats this subject you might think they believe that this is inexplicable and that no one can possibly know what causes these violent crimes or how to prevent them, and that people that commit what they call "hate crimes" mysteriously became violent as fully formed adults.

Fortunately as I've written in numerous articles, including some listed below, there actually is plenty of good research showing what many of the most important root causes of violence are and how to prevent it. Even though this research is peer reviewed by many good academics and can be verified by regular citizens that take the time to understand it the media and political establishment continue acting as if the only way to address this problem is to threaten more punishment after the fact as a deterrent, which obviously isn't working, and demanding that everyone condemn these crimes when they're told to do so.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that I support this crime, I don't anymore than any rational person; however the same people that are demanding that everyone condemn this atrocity also demand that we condemn anyone that challenges the universal claims of the intelligence community which has a history of lying, and more important they do nothing to teach the public about the root causes of violence and how it escalates starting with early child abuse, bullying hazing and other social problems.

I've explained many of the most important root causes of violent crime in the past and cited many good sources of peer reviewed researchers, so instead of repeating them I'll just list a few of the most relevant articles below. I haven't had an opportunity to research the people involved in this atrocity any more than any one else; however if some of the same contributing causes that preceded their crime don't turn up, assuming someone takes the time to look for them that would be extremely bizarre.

Even though I don't know anything about their background there's an enormous amount of evidence to indicate that adult behaviors develop gradually over life starting in early childhood and people taught well early in life, with reasonable educational opportunities, and when they get into adulthood employment opportunities, without being abused as a child simply never go to such extreme behavior. Children who are abused at a young age or raised in areas where there are no educational or economic opportunities, are much more likely to turn out to be violent adults.

I know, of course that most children that are subject to corporal Punishment, or other forms of child abuse, at an early age don't turn out to be murderers or violent felons; however it is much more likely; and even if they don't turn out to be violent felons they often have other emotional problems which impact themselves and society.

If the media did more to inform the public about this then they could do much more to dramatically reduce violence around the country by reducing the contributing causes. Fortunately many areas of the country do a much better job addressing the root causes of crime, which provides more evidence of what can be done to reduce it. One of the most obvious is the use of corporal punishment in schools, which generally correlates, at least to some degree with support for corporal punishment at home. There are only nineteen states that still allow it at all and typically six to eight of those nineteen states are in the top ten states for murder rates and others are close to the top ten.

The only two states that still allow corporal punishment that come close to the bottom ten or get into it are Wyoming and Idaho and they hardly ever use it at all. The states that use it the most are the ones that have the highest murder rates. Chicago isn't in one of those states, however it does have some of the most badly abandoned inner cities. Typically the other states without corporal punishment in the top ten for murder rates, including Maryland and Delaware also have more abandoned inner cities.

Jonathan Kozol has written about this in numerous books including "Savage inequalities" and "Shame on a Nation." He focuses mainly on the educational system but also addresses some of the lack of economic opportunities health care counseling and larger amounts of pollution and economic fraud attempts like pay day lenders.

The mainstream media treats researchers like Jonathan Kozol or Diane Ravitz like radical fringe element it they mention them at all; however they do far more to explain the problems with the education system along with researchers like Barbara Coloroso, James Garbarino, Alice Miller and Philip Greven, who write about how violence escalates from an early age and how it can be prevented by educating parents about how to raise their children without abusing them.

Unfortunately this type of research is almost never discussed in the mainstream media or considered when trying to figure out how to prevent these crimes.

Chicago happens to be where Barack Obama came from and his political agenda has close ties to their local politics including the educational system which is almost certainly a major part of the problem. His first Secretary of Education was Arne Duncan, a close ally of his from Chicago who was also the Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Public Schools for eight years before going to Washington. When in Chicago and Washington, he pushed charters schools and increased control of for profit schools in both.

He was criticized for pushing militarization of the Chicago schools; and shortly after Barack Obama, Arne Duncan and Rahm Emanuel went to Washington, Rahm Emanuel returned to run for mayor and continue pushing many of the same policies which they supported and teachers unions opposed. Dinae Ravitz and Jonathan Kozol were both critical of these problems, and surprise, now while many part of the country are enjoying reducing crime rates, including murder Chicago is among the big cities where it is still high, in some cases it is even turning around and going back up.

In one of my past articles about addressing the root causes of crime, Politicians increase crime; Grass roots efforts reduce crime; Politicians steal the credit, I cited Richmond California which had even bigger problems with crime and abandoned inner cities than Chicago, at least before reform efforts in both cities. Since then the murder rates have gone down in both cities, however they went down much lower in Richmond, with murder rates dropping from about 28 in 2002 per 100,000 to 10 in 2014 (Crime rate in Richmond, California and Crime rate in Chicago, Illinois), than in Chicago only dropping from 22 to 15 in the same time period, and recent reports indicate that it may be surging in 2015 and 2016 reversing the trend.

Richmond had a Green Party Mayor for a while who opposed the draconian school privatization movement that many parts of the country, including Chicago were pushing and they also had a police chief that was reforming the police department while Rahm Emanuel was continuing to cover up police corruption brutality and use of excessive force.

The evidence overwhelmingly supports one side of these debate; however the people with political power use their control of the media to ensure that instead of informing the public about this all they report is propaganda.

One of the few things that they do report on is gun control which in many cases is a part of the problem, although I doubt if it is the biggest part of the problem; however they seemed so obsessed with it on one occasion when reporting on this that they automatically went into discussing it without mentioning that this assault doesn't seem to involve guns at all.

They seem to have the same arguments on automatic without thinking about if they actually apply.

It is of course right to say that the people involved in this attack bear the most responsibility; I’m not arguing otherwise as some people might try to imply. However when many people are raised in dysfunctional homes which are much more common when there are entire abandoned dysfunctional communities with no hope or opportunities then they’re much less likely to care about society and more likely to act irrational and go to unjustifiable extremes.

We routinely say that there is no excuse for horrors like this; which I don’t argue with; however there is also no excuse for refusing to address many of the long term contributing causes, especially when the most powerful people in the political establishment are responsible for it.

As horrifying as this attack on a developmentally disabled teen is; it is even more horrifying to ship jobs overseas, promote school privatization efforts allow corporation to profit by polluting the poorest areas where people have no political clout, and make promises about “hope” and “change” only to support the corporate agenda which is contributing directly or indirectly to the devastation of abandoned inner cities.

Barack Obama and his campaign contributors don’t know what it is like to live in one of the abandoned inner cities they helped create, and they don’t seem to care either. Yes knowing how terrible it is may make many people wasn’t to do what they can to prevent it from getting worse, and it should make all people think the same way. However when many people are subject to abuse from all sides especially the most powerful institutions that are supposed to help solve these problems it is inevitable that some of them strike out violently in frustration, and they may not always do so rationally.

It wasn’t to long ago when Barack Obama responded to shootings of police by calling the veterans that killed them “cowards” even though they were taking on insurmountable odds, for a foolish reason, of course, and ignored the fact that he sent people to wars based on lies then when some of these minorities came back they found out that even though they blindly followed orders in wars overseas minorities wouldn’t be protected from the police who were supposed to be protecting them.

Instead of trying to find out what the root causes of violence is and prevent them our so-called leaders practice acting in shock and incomprehension and resort to insults that are a lot like the behavior they’re allegedly trying to discourage.

People with the most political power use that power to blame those with the least for everything that goes on and they also use it to pressure them to accept all their corruption driving people to extremes and …. Guess what it leads to hate especially when nothing else they do seems to work and they strike out any way they can out of anger.

The same contributing causes of violence happened with these minorities as with Dylann Roof, both were almost certainly raised in abusive homes and neither could strike out at the people that were abusing them. In both cases they were abused by people with political clout that they couldn’t strike out at, and they looked for someone to blame. In Dylaan Roof’s case he may have often been told that it was black’s fault for everything and he may have gotten positive feedback from parents when he agreed with racists parents instead of challenging their mistakes. Before he was able to develop critical thinking skills he learned that he would get treated better if he went along with the program by the people that were abusing him.

The Chicago abusers were different in some ways but they also learned to strike out at those with less power from those with more power who abuse them.

There is plenty of sociology research that shows that victims of abuse are more likely to strike out at their own families or who ever they can strike out at if they can’t get justices from the people that are oppressing them.

The reason they can't figure out what the most important contributing causes of violence are and how to prevent them is because they don't want to. If I can find all this research showing a large part of what could reduce this violence so could they; however they're clearly far more concerned with their own fiscal ideology which is designed to make the rich richer without addressing many of the most basic functions of society. In some areas they admit that some policies don't work when citizens stand up to them but don't report them in others so they can push their ideologies without reporting on the best research.

If you look closely at some of the past work by some members of the Black Lives Matter movement, Saun King and Symone Sanders, who previously supported Bernie Sanders they tried far more to address the root causes of violence and abandoned d inner cities in the past than thee people that are demanding that they condemn this as a "hate crime." Frankly I don't know or care whether or not it fits anyone's definition of a "hate crime;" it is far more important to understand what led up to it, starting with early childhood education, and and figure out how to prevent tit so it is far less likely to happen again, and eventually if we address most of the social problems in this country these types of things will hardly ever happen if they happen at all.

A couple of years ago I did my own reviews into many of the most important contributing causes of crime and how to prevent them. The most important contributing cause is almost certainly early child abuse leading to escalating violence later in life including bullying, hazing, domestic violence, murder and more even war. The following are some of the articles I wrote about this and other major contributing causes, and some of the articles about how they're being ignored one time after another when these disasters happen.

Barack Obama “Fired up, ready to go” Join a Cult?

Barack Obama gave another impassioned speech the day before the election trying to inspire people to go to the polls, talking about a local South Carolina leader who worked close to the residents and was able to inspire them with her charisma. she worked to "establish after school programs for the community's youth, offer holiday meals for the unemployed and provide school supplies for underprivileged young people," which is of course great.

And if Obama's version of this is close to the truth part of the way she was able to do this was with her inspirational speaking skills; however as the saying goes “Everything is good in moderation" including inspirational speaking, which won't help if it's not followed up with productive policies or if it is followed up with one broken promise after another.

Obama retells his ‘Fired up, Ready to go!’ story at Clinton rally 11/07/2016

“I’m trying to muster myself up, make the best of this. Suddenly I hear this voice from the back, just shout: “Fired up!” And everybody in the room says: “Fired up!” And then I hear the voice say, “Ready to go!” And everybody in the room says, “Ready to go” and I don’t know what’s going on.

I think these people are crazy. Maybe I shouldn’t have come here.

And then I look in the back of the room. And there’s this middle-aged woman and she’s dressed like she just came from church. She’s got a big church hat. And she’s got, I think a gold tooth. It turns out she holds a position in the local NAACP office and also I’m not kidding you is a private detective.

This is a true story, she’s like a private eye, although it’s hard to think that you wouldn’t see her coming. She’s very colorful, and she’s grinning at me. And apparently, she is known wherever she goes by saying this chant: “Fired up.” And everybody knows her, so they know that when she says “fired up” they’ve got to say “fired up” and when she says “ready to go” everybody’s got to say “ready to go.”

This is what she does every meeting she goes to she does this thing, which is kind of strange. So the thing is though she keeps on doing it. “Fired up, fired up, ready to go, ready to go.” But the interesting thing is after a while, I’m starting to get kind of fired up. I’m starting to feel like I’m ready to go. And all those negative thoughts and all those bad memories start drifting away.” Complete article

This psychological manipulation tactic was partially described in one of the leaked E-Mails, RE: Follow Up 05/22/2016 Getting out the Latino Vote in 2016 and Beyond and an attachment with research into how they respond to campaign outreaches, honest of not. This document claims that 'Hispanics are the most responsive to “story telling”: Brands need to “speak with us.”' It's not just Hispanics that they try to use “story telling” to inspire and create an emotional attachment to without addressing many of the most important issues; and this is another clear example of how they're doing it.

This may be great salesmanship but when they gradually take away all the attempts to address legitimate issues and there's nothing left but lies and broken promises about "hope and change" people are going to figure out something is wrong, even if many of the people don't do as well sorting through all the news to figure out what it is and what better options are available.

Hillary Clinton also demonstrated her “story telling” skills throughout the campaign trail including a few days after the convention and only about a week after this document was disclosed when she described how she worked for her father4 and went through all the details about the work as if she spent plenty of time doing labor work. It wasn't the first time she used this story telling tactic to try to make people feel like she was one of them she once said, “One of the best jobs I had to prepare me to be president was sliming fish in Alaska.” What she failed to mention is that Hillary Clinton fired from fish-sliming job within a week for asking too many questions.

Her story telling skills might be more effective if she wasn't constantly getting caught lying, often when she should have known much better and doesn't even do a good job at it.

In 2008 Barack Obama won the nomination against Hillary Clinton because he had a much more progressive record and he was able to show that Hillary Clinton was the one that supported wars based on lies and the corporate agenda globalizing trade without protecting workers rights and many other things. He promised he wouldn't hire any lobbyists in his cabinet; that he would protect workers and even "put on a comfortable pair of shoes" and march with them as president; that he would seek environmental protection in his trade deals that he would close Guantanamo Bay, which was a clear violation of international law and the constitution and many more things.

Clearly he was a much better candidate than Hillary Clinton who had a track record of opposing all these positions, even if she claimed to support them during her campaign.

This is how he won; and if he followed through on some of his promises his legacy would have been the greater of any president in decades or longer.

Of course he broke almost all his promises and on the rare occasion, like the Keystone Pipeline where he actually kept it at least for now, it was only after indicating that he was ready to cave to bossiness interests and the grassroots mounted enormous protests to pressure to keep at least one or two of his promises.

When the Wisconsin protest took place he was amazingly silent avoiding any discussion of "comfortable shoes" which he probably wore while meeting with all the lobbyists he promised never to hire. He fell for an incredibly pathetic argument that it was unconstitutional to close Guantanamo without permission from Congress.

Activities going on at Guantanamo were blatant violations of the Geneva Conventions which he was required to obey by the Constitution and the Constitution also bans imprisonment without trial or even charges, although they claim this only applies to citizens not enemy combatants. Even if you accept that non-citizens aren't protected by this clause in the Constitution, perhaps on technical grounds lawyers often use to win their arguments, it is a blatant violation of the intent of the Constitution and basic democratic principles and decency.

He had Insurance lobbyists which he promised never to hire write his so-called "Affordable Care Act;" and he became the leading cheerleader for the Trans Pacific trade agreement which was negotiated in secret, and Hillary Clinton called it the "Gold Standard" before she realized it wasn't in her political interests to support it and he broke so many other promises that I can't keep track of them all.

If some people still approve of his presidency it's hard to imagine it's because he kept his promises, since he didn't and those that do their own research instead of falling for emotional appeal know it!

Then he wanted us to support Hillary Clinton, who he rightly pointed out was a corporate puppet in 2008 and, if anything it is much more obvious now, assuming anyone checks the news, especially if they use alternative media outlets. Her record was incredibly corrupt and this was clear to those who checked the news even before the first round of leaks from the DNC just before the convention, but after all the leaks along with the renewed investigation about he E-Mail from the FBI there should have been no doubt that she couldn't have been trusted.

He had plenty of chance to call for a different nominee who represented the people but instead be blatantly sided with those who were rigging the primaries.

Why is it that he "really really wants" us to help him elect Hillary Clinton? Because it will insult his legacy? Does he think he has a legacy that is worth defending?

No one did more to insult Obama's legacy than Barack Obama himself by betraying almost every promise he made then colluding with the other Democrats to nominate an incredibly corrupt candidate who obviously flip flopped on almost every issue just before the campaign and can't seem to stop herself from lying all the time.

Is he trying to turn this country into a cult where all the people decide which lying charismatic speaker they should follow behind without checking facts?

Political operatives have been doing plenty of research about psychological manipulation as I have pointed out in numerous articles including Corruption or Bias in the American Psychological Association Political Psychologist Are Suppressing Democracy and Frank Luntz confesses to sabotaging democratic process for clients They've escalated their hype so much that they don't even bother with trying to address issues honestly anymore and now only provide media coverage for incredibly corrupt individuals who collect donations from corrupt corporations and study how to make emotional appeals.

There is nothing in the Constitution that says "no one will be entitled to the media coverage that they need to establish name recognition necessary to have a chance of winning in the election unless they collect money from corporations that want something in return."

That is something the media and multinational corporations came up with on their own; and even though they never phrased it quite that way, that I know of, they demonstrated this with their actions.

Donald Trump promised to "Drain the Swamp," which sounds good to some; and it would be good if he actually meant it. But of course his top advisers have been from the "swamp" all along, including Steve Bannon, a former worker for Goldman Sachs, Jared Kushner, an investor and son of a notorious felon who retaliated against a witness against him by luring to have sex with a prostitute on tape and revealing it, Michael Flynn and Rudy Giuliani, both of whom are lobbyists for foreign governments and working in his transition with top secret information possibly about those countries; Carl Icahn, James Dimon, and he's already using the White House web page to advertise for his business interests according to Rachel Maddow.

He's now promising that he won't allow lobbyists in his cabinet, which is a tactic other previous Presidents have made, and broke or found a way to keep them without abandoning the interests of the lobbyists at the expense of the rest of us. Obama just broke the same promise; however Trump is already using lobbyists in his transition team and might have James Dimon in his cabinet, who may not be a lobbyist but he is one of the leading people hiring them.

He may not hire registered lobbyists but he'll consult with or hire unregistered ones.

These problems were clear long before the election to those that checked the news but he was still able to beat the candidate that he was cheering for. How could she possibly lose to him? How could both nominees possibly be this bad?

With an opponent as obviously incompetent as Donald Trump; it should be incredibly easy to win, which appears to be what they were counting on, since they weren't trying to addressing the concerns of the public at all.

The only way Donald Trump could ever come close to winning is if they put him up against someone as horrible as Hillary Clinton and he did a better job attracting cult followers, which appears to be exactly what they've done.

Instead of rigging it for Hillary Clinton they rigged it for Donald Trump by preventing honest candidates from ever being heard!

Now thanks to the incredible amounts of corruption in both parties we have a president elect that is suing or threatening to sue many people that disagrees with him or are outraged by his behavior including those that claim that his bragging about sexual assault was actually about true events. He's also suing the government for lower taxes, and he may now be in a position to appoint someone settle as both defendant and plaintiff. Lawyers for Melania claim her critics have ‘reckless disregard for the truth.’

Does anyone believe that they're more 'reckless' than her husband during his campaign, or at any other time, for 'the truth?'

Electing Hillary Clinton wouldn't have been much better since he's also been involved in similar activities; however at least with Donald Trump it's so obvious only the most mindless cult follower or people not paying any attention at all wouldn't recognize how corrupt he is.

Barack Obama betrayed Police Veterans and Blacks

Barack Obama made a very good point during his speech in Dallas Texas when he said, "As a society, we choose to under-invest in decent schools. We allow poverty to fester so that entire neighborhoods offer no prospect for gainful employment. We refuse to fund drug treatment and mental health programs. We flood communities with so many guns that it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than get his hands on a computer or even a book. And then we tell the police, 'You’re a social worker; you’re the parent; you’re the teacher; you’re the drug counselor.'”

The last part echoed a statement made by the Dallas Police Chief Brown's statement; however regrettably he didn't follow it up with any attempt to further explore the root causes that lead up to shootings both by police and of police, or how to prevent them.

One thing Barack Obama and the majority of the political establishment fail to mention is that it isn't our entire "society" that is involved in the decisions to "under-invest in decent schools," it is mostly the political establishment and the propagandists that give the public selective information to make their decisions, partly controlling those decisions.

There has been plenty of research to explain the leading root causes of violence and how it escalates for decades; however it is rarely mentioned in the media. On the few times they do mention it a little they quickly forget about it and return to the propaganda that counteracts it over and over again. This is one of those examples, where Barack Obama made a good point without acting on it or repeating it often.

When it comes to the issues that he really supports and wants to act on he repeats his efforts over and over again often without mentioning contradictory views that might raise doubts about his position like his support for TPP or many other issues.

With the constant portrayal of the problem of a conflict of Black Lives Matter and police it would be helpful to point out that the leading contributing causes to both the police and to poor people living in poverty are the same. Not surprisingly police face a greater threat where murder rates are higher than they do in states with lower murder rates. according to the Officer down Memorial page ten out of thirty-six officers that were killed by gunfire were killed in the ten states with the highest murder rates; only three were killed in the ten states with the lowest murder rates; five out of nine killed by vehicular assault were in the ten states with the highest murder rates; only two in the ten states ones with the lowest; the only accidental shooting was in one of the ten states with the highest murder rates. If you check past years the correlation is repeated often even stronger.

The root causes of violence have been thoroughly researched for decades and the best research is getting even better but this is rarely mentioned in the traditional press or considered by politicians including Barack Obama when making policies that might impact crime. Some of the best researchers have been reporting on this in lower profile books since at least the eighties if not much longer, perhaps including Benjamin Spock's first book in the forties; and I have been trying to report on this at least since 2011 when I first posted Unacknowledged Censorship in Arizona about Jared Loughner and followed it up with several more posts exploring many other contributing causes to escalating violence including a series of posts starting with Ignored evidence linking corporal punishment, poverty and crime grows and ending with Politicians increase crime; Grass roots efforts reduce crime; Politicians steal the credit

As I've indicated in past posts, which provided much more evidence to prove cause and confirm it with correlations, the most important long term cause of escalating violence is almost certainly early abuse to children that leads to escalating violence later in life, including bullying, hazing, domestic violence and even murder. Other additional contributing causes of violence are increased poverty, income inequality, lack of education or economic opportunities, abandoned inner cities and several other additional contributing causes.

Unfortunately in most cases when the most effective ways to reduce crime contradict the best interests of corporations that support opposing views and donate to political campaigns the entire political establishment, including Barack Obama routinely favor corporate interests, unless there is overwhelming opposition, often only at the local level. This is why some of the areas where people are most active at the grassroots level often have the lowest crime rates, including murder. Vermont is one of the states with the most active grassroots movements often attending town halls holding their elected officials accountable and they've had nearly the lowest murder rates for years if not decades according to FBI reports listed at the Death Penalty Information Center. Richmond California has a much higher murder rate but they've proven, in the last ten years, or so, that with efforts at the grassroots level that murder rates can be brought down dramatically even in abandoned inner cities when local people act.

However they don't reduce violent crime by listening to the misleading propaganda coming from corporate media or the typical political establishment.

They keep violent crime down by doing much better research and addressing the root causes of violence before it escalates.

There have been numerous claims that murder is rising in many cities in the last few years however complete records are often slow to come from the FBI; but it appears as if it might only be partly true, but perhaps only in the cities that do the worst job addressing the root causes of violence including Milwaukee which has some of the most irrational politics from their leaders and had riots break out recently following a shooting by a cop.

Barack Obama the media and the rest of the political establishment could have done much more to educate the public about the most effective ways to reduce violence; unfortunately they're far more concerned with serving the political interests of the few than the best interests of the majority. However Milwaukee and relatively nearby Madison Wisconsin might be a good example of some very dramatic differences in the way they address escalating violence and policing; howsoever, the comparison may not be simple in some ways since Madison has less than 6% African American population and Milwaukee has more than 36%.

However there is a dramatic difference, for one reason or another in the Murder rates in Milwaukee Wisconsin which are typically three or four times the national average and there is little or no sign of improvement. The Murder rates in Madison Wisconsin are much lower typically a third of national average rates and sometimes as little as a fifth of the national average. For one reason or another there is a major difference here and it would be premature to jump to the conclusion that the reason for this difference is race without looking at other details. The differences between policing is dramatically different; in Milwaukee media coverage is often dominated by David Clarke who is among the most authoritarian conservative sheriff's in the country almost in complete denial about any potential problems with police.

In Madison some of their practices may have been developed by former police chief David Couper who takes a dramatically different approach and has been a major advocate for police reform for years. One of his articles, Hazing and Bullying in the Police Academy explains how hazing is used to indoctrinate police officers in the same manner that it is used to indoctrinate veterans to blindly obey orders and to use bullying tactics including violence to get others to obey. This is a major contributing cause to escalating violence that often begins earlier in life, as I explained previously in posts about how corporal punishment leads to escalating violence. Cadets, whether at the police or military academy learn how to escalate tensions instead of deescalating them in this manner. Many of the most authoritarian cadets that were raised in a similar manner may respond well to this, or at least they seem to, since they've often been through it before but this is part of an indoctrination process that teaches authoritarian thinking without developing critical thinking skills.

Children that are taught this way learn to obey orders without question and believe what they're told without fact checking, as I explained in previous posts about Philip Zimbardo, Lucifer Effect, Stanford Prison Experiment and Eli Roth’s Milgram/Obedience experiment much more extensive than most people realize research previously either financed or at least supported by the Office of Naval Research was done to find out why Nazi's blindly obeyed orders and became more violent, supposedly to avoid having it happen again. Unfortunately the military has been involved in boot camp training for decades if not hundreds of years to get their recruits to obey orders. One of the reasons they blindly obey orders is because that is what their leaders want and they've studies how to get obedience; and, even though they claimed they were trying to teach people to stand up to authorities in some of the reports about these research projects when they develop boot camp training tactics they don't do any such thing, and it is being used as part of a process to teach blind obedience, despite claims to the contrary.

The media typically reports both veteran shootings and police shootings as random events, and usually only at the local level, so the vast majority of the public probably doesn't even suspect how often they happen. It wasn't until grassroots organizations started compiling police shootings and dramatically increased their protest about them that the media increased coverage a little; however they still quickly forget most of them and make little effort to compile a list to report on how often they happen. Christopher Jordan Dorner, Manuel Pardo, Eulalio “Leo” Tordil and Tech. Sgt. Steven D. Bellino are just a handful of the police officers with military experience that went on killing sprees and there is some evidence to indicate that their boot camp training or hazing might have lead to arguments or obsessive behavior contributing to these shooting sprees. Both the shooters killing police in Dallas and Baton Rouge were also trained by the military and went through boot camp training and hazing to teach them to deal with their problems through violence or the threat of violence.

In Teach a soldier to kill and he just might and A Brief History of Cops Convicted of Murder I provided much longer lists of shooting sprees by veterans and police that have been trained to kill by our government. They include reports of how domestic violence is also higher among both groups and so is suicide. These happen much more often than the media reports. Instead of reporting on this they report an enormous amount of propaganda glorifying both police and veterans without mentioning the problems; which clearly provides misleading images to those who don't check facts.

Any killing of police, as many people say, is too much; however it could just as easily be said about everyone else including those killed by police and there is a routine by police and the media to make it seem like there is a much greater threat to the police than there is as I pointed out in The threat to police is greatly exaggerated where I cited police deaths that have been dropping for decades and reached a all time low in 2013. at the time they reached this all time low they were claiming it was getting worse for them, as they had a few years earlier in 2009 when the New York Post reported The war on cops is getting worse even though that year was less dangerous than any previous year and we now know that it went down even further before climbing back up. It's still to early to thoroughly review the statistics since it went up in the last couple years, especially this year sine the reports aren't complete; however it is still less dangerous than other trades as The War On Cops, Debunked 08/01/2016 indicates police are 14th most dangerous out of 17 trades, however the threat in other trades is less dramatic and rarely reported widely.

However clearly there still is a threat to police and this doesn't mean that it is justified to target them; but the most effective way to get the trend to continue going down isn't going into total denial like David Clarke and many other people from police unions or the political establishment. But if the people shooting them openly say they're retaliation for oppressive treatment by the police and there are enormous lists of incidents indicating that there are many examples where police are acting in brutal ways then total denial of any problem on the part of David Clarke or police union leaders won't do anything to help solve the problem. It doesn't take much to find just a handful of the thousands of incidents reported at local levels where police get out of line and in some cases even when there are no charges towns pay out massive amounts in lawsuits at tax payer expenses; or in the rare occasion where police are found guilty and sentenced it isn't nearly as long as a civilian would be.

Anyone that wants to find them can find a hundred times as many stories if they look through the cop watch sites now available on the internet. No doubt the police like David Clarke might dismiss this as "cop Haters" as they often do however even if some of these sites do resent cops more than is called for they provide long lists of examples which can be verified independently if anyone is worrying about bias. And it is important to keep in mind no matter how often the media or police say these police are here to "Protect" us many people in abandoned inner cities where the police often don't come at all when they're called or they treat residents all like criminals know this isn't always true, in some of the wurst cities they often feel as if it is never true.

When corporations ship their jobs overseas dump pollution in their back yards, suppress wages so they can't afford to function properly in a society do the police "Protect" them from corporate corruption.

Not likely however if they protest and get ignored by the entire political establishment which doesn't address legitimate concerns and keep on protesting until they get some action then the police jump to action.

Not to protect the citizens, though but to suppress protests without actually addressing concerns.

If those with political power had to put up with this they would be outraged. They might even understand why people herded into ghettos by the political establishment might riot when the only "hope" and "change" they get is broken political promises.

Tom Barrett also demonstrated ignorance of how violence escalated as a result of authoritarian child rearing tactics when he said, "If you love your son, if you love your daughter, text them, call them, pull them by their ears, get them home." Does he think this is the most effective way to educate children to obey orders? If this is a common attitude about how to raise children in that city perhaps it isn't surprising that they have such high murder rates. In addition to restoring the education and economic system with local jobs they clearly need to learn much more about proper educational methods.

If someone suggested that Tom Barrett's children should be controlled by "pulling them by their ears" would he be outraged? More important would his children be outraged and resent it eventually learning to respond to their problems with intimidating tactics? Are they more inclined to use these tactics or corporal punishment on black children?

It's hard to know for certain without further research at the local level; however there are plenty of reports to indicate that in the states where they still do allow corporal punishment in schools they use it much more on black children. In "All God's Children" Fox Butterfield traces how violence was taught from one generation to another in the Bosket family tracing the methods back to their slave owners in the nineteenth century. These methods are often taught by those with the most political power to those with the least. However when child rearing tactics changed starting with "Baby and Child Care" by Benjamin Spock, along with other books from the same time by additional child rearing experts with similar methods, were almost certainly taught much more widely in middle class white America where they had much more success teaching ways to develop critical thinking skills. Not all black families stuck with strict authoritarian manners of raising their children but regardless of race these methods have proven ineffective and teach observance and to solve problems with intimidation tactics that lead to escalating violence.

By recommending the parents "pull their children by the ear" Tom Barrett is recommending more of the tactics that lead to escalating violence!

Tom Barrett is the candidate the Democrats ran for Governor against Scott Walker in both 2010 and the recall elections. It appears to be part of the common trend where neither candidate representing the major parties is truly standing up for the people based on the best research. In 2014 they ran a business women. For all practical purposes neither parties even consider social workers, human rights advocates, worker or consumer rights advocates.

Corporate America seems to own the government.

If they want to understand how to reduce violence in the most effective manner possible the most important thing is to teach children at a young age how to use other methods to solve their problems and provide adequate preschool education before they learn to strike out in anger after problems escalate as more modern child rearing expert like Barbara Coloroso author of Kids Are Worth It! could explain to people in abandoned inner cities including Tom Barrett and David Clarke. Although Barrett and Clarke might be reluctant to listen but if they lose all their followers they will be less relevant and the public can have much more success solving their problems by following methods used by cities that have had much more success reducing violence in previously abandoned inner cities like Richmond California as I explained in Politicians increase crime; Grass roots efforts reduce crime; Politicians steal the credit

People in some of these abandoned inner cities like Baton Rouge know damn well that the police are less concerned about reforming the problems when they storm protesters on private property where they had permission to be there as demonstrated in a couple videos including Bill of Rights be damned, Baton Rouge police raid a protest being held on PRIVATE PROPERTY. and Baton Rouge home owner "very upset" after police storm her yard arresting protesters who had permission to be there.

They also demonstrate there is a serious problem when Sheriff Raids House to Find Anonymous Blogger and former Police Officer Who Called Him Corrupt. 08/04/2016 Even if they're not corrupt this clearly isn't the way to handle this complaint and there would still be a problem with the former police officer making false accusations in that case; however their response strongly indicates that isn't the case.

What did Barack Obama or the traditional media have to say about this?

Very little if they mention it at all.

In most cases they just repeat the same propaganda about how glorious our veterans are or the police who are "protecting" us without doing much if anything to correct the educational and economic conditions that lead to escalating violence.

If people aren't in total denial is it that hard to understand how Micah Xavier Johnson and Gavin Long who went through boot camp teaching them to obey orders and respond to problems through military means might get upset when they realize after coming home that they're not being treated with respect by the country they pledged to defend. The government lied to them when they said they were being sent overseas to protect our country based on lies and they lied when they said they would provide resources including mental health if necessary for them when they came back.

Not that I expect most reasonable people to agree with the extreme and counterproductive methods they used; however when the political establishment continues to suppress legitimate protests, ignore the best research about solving social problems rigging elections and conducting other activities that the majority of the public have to pay for then there are bound to be repercussions and they aren't always going to be rational.

Simply telling people to believe what they're told and obey police officers even when they're behaving irrational isn't going to solve the problem.

Both the murder rates and the rates of police being killed in the line of duty are near historic lows; however in the last couple years the rate of police being killed may have inched up a little, indicating a possible reversal of this trend.

There is enough research available to teach the public and the political establishment how to get those trends going back down; but they're not going to do that by glorifying violence and war without fixing epidemic levels of political corruption and election rigging or a media establishment that is far more concerned with increasing profits by relying more on violence for entertainment value than tehy do to educate the public about how to reduce it.

When Barack Obama and the rest of the political establishment refuse to allow peaceful protests to work they're betraying the whole country and risking unpredictable repercussions that could come unexpectedly from unknown sources, often the ones they train.

These shooters may not have been justified but the real cowards are Barack Obama and his political cronies hiding behind secure gated communities while their decisions endanger the rest of us.
