The Ministry Of Truth That Cried Wolf

Facebook is going on another censorship binge, either that or it's been going on all along, but went unnoticed by many for a while. While social media was giving people an opportunity to reduce the inequality of media with a small number of corporations, only six since the late nineties, controlling over 95% of national news; now the oligarchs are trying to roll back any improvements we make by spreading the most important news at the grassroots level.

They argue that "fake news" justifies fact checking, and there certainly is a lot of false news at both the grassroots level and in the mainstream media; however, there so-called experts clearly cater to the political establishment, often refuting claims against some of the most powerful people like Barack Obama and Donald Trump, while ignoring the way the elites rig the political establishment in their own favor, or falsely refuting those of us who try to expose it. Both Trump and Obama have recently benefited when memes criticizing them were initially marked as false or misleading then completely censored.

Donald Trump has argued that he's often censored by Twitter or Facebook, with a limited degree of truth; however, since he's a celebrity, this censorship often increases the amount of attention given to his absurd comments, whether people believe them or not. Furthermore, he has a history of suing his critics trying to silence them, often relying on non-disclosure agreements, and attempts to use other forms of censorship.

Obama may do a better job pretending to oppose censorship and spinning it when he supports it; but that only makes him more insidious. The absurd conspiracy theory about Russia meddling in our election, which Obama and the entire Democratic Party and traditional media all supported. The fact that the Democratic Party and the media were rigging the nomination was clear before the DNC or Podesta leaks in 2016. This is standard operating procedure.

In order for a candidate to become viable the first thing they need is name recognition, before even considering the issues. It's been standard operating procedure for decades for the consolidated media, working with the political parties to provide obsession coverage for candidates the Wall Street establishment supports. The evidence of this can never be hidden since the coverage has to be public; and those of us that have checked out alternative candidates that have been around all along realize they've been censored all along. They rig elections by rigging the coverage.

When the E-mails were leaked, regardless of how or why, they exposed some additional details of how they do this. Even if Russia was responsible for this, which I doubt, they couldn't have done nearly as much to influence the elections as the oligarchy media and political parties, all catering to Wall Street. This is the main excuse they've been using to increase the demand for censorship since then. The political establishment has been repeating their own deceptive propaganda over and over again without allowing grassroots to challenge it in a high profile manner.

Facebook has been marking several Memes, including the one shown below, as false or deceptive forcing people to click on it acknowledging that they read this before seeing it, but then deleted them within a week or so. My response to one of them before they deleted it was "The Ministry of Truth, which fact checked this, is more biased than the Meme, which might have some problems, but the general idea is true!" 07/24/2020

When it was still up and they added the disclaimer they also provided a link to an article allegedly debunking it, which I can't find now that it's been deleted; however, I found this one, which might be the same, Obama did not sign law authorizing federal agents to ‘snatch’ Portland protesters 07/22/2020, and claims that the White House cited 40 U.S Code 1315 signed into law by George W. Bush as justification for their actions in Portland. Other Memes like this one may also have been deleted.

Technically, they might have a small point; however, the more important point is that both political parties routinely sign legislation chipping away at constitutional rights including the 2011 NDAA bill, which according to President Obama Signs Indefinite Detention Bill Into Law | American Civil Liberties Union 12/31/2011 Anthony D. Romero, ACLU executive director said,

“President Obama's action today is a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law. The statute is particularly dangerous because it has no temporal or geographic limitations, and can be used by this and future presidents to militarily detain people captured far from any battlefield. The ACLU will fight worldwide detention authority wherever we can, be it in court, in Congress, or internationally.”

Even if this law doesn't enable Trump's actions in Portland, it does enable similar actions all over the world. It should be any surprise that if they're willing to do this abroad they may be willing to do it here, especially when you consider we fight one war after another based on lies, and they're inciting retaliation instead of defending freedom. The ACLU also pointed out How Big a Deal is H.R. 347, That “Criminalizing Protest” Bill? 03/08/2012 which may not be quite as extreme as the NDAA; however, when you consider that Barack Obama won the election in 2008 by promising to do the opposite; not only was he saying that he wouldn't suppress protests, but he promised to "put on a comfortable pair of shoes" and "walk on that picket line with you, as president of the United States of America." But, of course, when the protests against Scott Walker in Wisconsin and Occupy Wall Street protests came around he did no such thing.

In a functioning democracy when people have legitimate grievances and bring them to the attention to the government, the government addresses them and the media reports on them enabling the public to learn about issues; in our government they're slowly chipping away at our right to protest and only covering candidates supported by the oligarchy so honest candidates can't attract enough attention to get elected. This is just one of many examples where Democrats have given Trump the legal power and financing to chip away at constitutional rights despite their political rhetoric.

In Dems' Sternly Worded Letter Won't Stop Fascism 07/20/2020 David Sirota points out that a few days after the Democrats expressed outrage about the use of the Homeland Security Department to take part in Portland arrests they advanced a bill to finance it without any restrictions on these action. He also points out numerous other efforts that hey did to finance ICE, CBP and other federal departments without providing any conditions that would require him to respect basic rights, which shouldn't be necessary since the Constitution should prohibit many hings he's doing.

He also points out how they also repeated renew the Patriot act and increase his military budget, which is almost as big as most of the other countries in the world combined. The Democratic establishment routinely passes a large amount of legislation benefiting corporations and billionaires while ignoring the working class, or worse, suppressing their rights to protest and organize.

Facebook is also censoring critics of Trump in some cases including deleting a meme covering the lawsuit that was withdrawn just before the 2016 election, that hardly got any attention by mainstream media at the time. I can't be certain that the meme below is the same exact one that was deleted, since I didn't save a copy from the same source but when I saw this meme and that it was flagged as misleading or false my response was The Ministry of Truth has told us what to think; however, I've looked into this story, and it's at least partly true, and she was intimidated into withdrawing her lawsuit! 07/19/2020

If the meme that was deleted wasn't the same exact meme as above, it was close; and, it was mostly if not entirely true, like this meme, and there are records and news stories to back it up. The following was an excerpt from the the firs lawsuit Katie Johnson filed in California, which was thrown out, before it was refiled in New York:

FACTUAL ALLEGATIONS

5: Plaintiff Katie Johnson alleges that Defendants Donald J Trump and Jeffrey E Epstein did willfully and with extreme malice violate her Civil Rights under 18 U.S.C; 2241 by sexually and physical abusing Plaintiff Johnson by forcing her to engage in various perverted and depraved sex acts by threatening physical harm to Plaintiff Johnson and also her family.

6. The Plaintiff, Katie Johnson, alleges she was subject to extreme sexual and physical abuse by the defendants Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey E. Epstein, also did willfully and with extreme malice violate her Civil Rights under 42 U.S.C. ; 1985 by conspiring to deny Plaintiff Katie Johnson her Civil Rights by making her their sex slave.

7: Plaintiff Katie Johnson alleges she was subject to extreme sexual and physical abuse by the Defendants Donald J Trump and Jeffrey E Epstein including forcible rape during a four-month time span covering the months of June-September 1994 when Plaintiff Johnson was still only a minor of age 13.

8: Plaintiff Katie Johnson alleges she was enticed by promises of money and a modelling career to attend a series of underage sex parties held at the New York City residence of Defendant Jeffrey E Epstein and attended by Defendant Donald J Trump.

9: On the first occasion involving Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was forced to manually stimulate Defendant Donald J Trump with the use of her hand upon Defendant Trump’s erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm.

10: On the second occasion involving Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was forced to orally copulate Defendant Trump by placing her mouth upon Defendant Trump’s erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm.

11: On the third occasion involving Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was forced to engage in an unnatural lesbian sex act with her fellow minor and sex slave, Maria Doe, age 12, for the sexual enjoyment of Defendant Trump. After this sex act both minors were forced to orally copulate Defendant Trump by placing their mouths simultaneously on his erect penis until he achieved sexual orgasm. After zipping up his pants, Defendant Trump physically pushed both minors away while angrily berating them for the “poor” quality of their sexual performance.

12: On the fourth and final sexual encounter with the Defendant Donald J Trump Plaintiff Johnson was tied to a bed by Defendant Trump who then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff Johnson. During the course of this savage sexual attack Plaintiff Johnson loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to “please wear a condom”. Defendant Trump responded by violently striking Plaintiff Johnson in the face with his open hand and screaming that “he would do whatever he wanted” as he refused to wear protection. After achieving sexual orgasm Defendant Donald J Trump put his suit back on and when Plaintiff Johnson, in tears, asked Defendant Trump what would happen if he had impregnated her, Defendant Trump grabbed his wallet and threw some money at her and screamed that she should use the money “to get a fucking abortion”. The first lawsuit was filed without any legal help, and there were numerous mistakes leading to it being dismissed on technical grounds, without even trying to figure out whether it had merit. The judge even recommended that she be forced to pay the legal expenses, even though she had less than three hundred dollars to her name. This is a clear and obvious indication that civil law is rigged so that only those that can afford it can file lawsuits, so rich people can file lawsuits against the poor, even without merit; but poor people may often not be able to file lawsuits against the rich, even when they have merit. This lawsuit was hardly mentioned at all by mainstream media, but there were a few establishment outlets with a lower profile than cable or network news that did cover it and both Snopes and Vox confirmed the details in the meme. She did get death threats and apparently Lisa Bloom can vouch for this. Vox went into a little more detail of some of the pattern of behavior behind Trump and Epstein than Snopes, confirming that the claims also fit a consistent pattern of behavior for accusations against both Trump and Epstein.

There was plenty of evidence showing that this fit a pattern of behavior in 2016, when this case was filed, but since then much more has come out, especially against Jeffrey Epstein, strengthening the pattern of behavior. The strongest direct evidence comes from Katie Johnson and at least one, possibly two corroborating witnesses; and Trump's claim is that they lied, of course. This is a routine claim from powerful people, including Joe Biden, who also claims that Tara Reade's claims and other accusations from other women accusing him as well are all false, stating or implying that they're liars. However, there's little reason to believe many of these women are inclined to take the risk of accusing powerful men like Trump or Biden, since they routinely retaliate against their accusers, often with the help of other people or institutions that are biased toward the rich and powerful.

With six corporations controlling over 95% of national media the billionaires have a massive propaganda advantage enabling them to push their ideology and only cover candidates they support, including fake progressives like Barack Obama, that make all kinds of promises to the grassroots they never intend to keep while refusing to cover honest candidates, ensuring all we get are crooks in office. In a fair system we shouldn't have to choose between to Wall Street puppets credibly accused of rape; but, of course the billionaires use their control of the media with this as the result.

For a while Social Media was enabling a relatively small percent of the public to expose this epidemic fraud; although, even at the best we were only able to reach a small percentage of the public at any given time. In the past few years powerful institutions have been making incredibly bad excuses, often with the help of politicians that pretend to be progressive. Now they're using these bad excuses to suppress speech from the grassroots, but not from the rich and powerful, although occasionally they try to make it look like they are.
