Walmart had another eleven more shootings in March of 2026, with one of them fatal and at least one more injury, which is few deaths or injuries than usual, at least two of the shootings was by police and another by an employee. There was also another shooter caught on their property after a shooting off their property who was tracked by a drone. There were several more gun related crimes including one where a gun was pulled in an argument, a theft of a gun a gun found on a fraud suspect and another suspect that tried to toss a gun to avoid being caught with it, possibly much more since they're not reported as reliably as they used to be.
In addition to the person killed in a shooting they found human remains of a missing woman on their property, and a Walmart employee was stabbed to death before one of the police shootings to detain the suspect who thought he was being stalked by a "demon," another employee was found dead in her car, and five people were killed in two accidents with four dead in one of them and the other was killed in an accident by an off-duty police officer for a total of nine people that died on their property. The police officer involved in the fatal accident was simply sent home instead of arrested, but they said he would probably be put on "administration leave with pay until the investigation is complete."
Is there really any doubt that police aren't held to the same laws as the rest of us, or that most of us would have been arrested if it was us?
The mother of a teen that was baked to death in October 2024 spoke out about how horrifying it was, but it's highly unlikely Walmart or the police investigating it told the whole truth. The police say there was no wrong doing on Walmart's part, but many employees familiar with this oven, which is no longer in use, shouldn't have worked that way and her death is, at best, unexplained, and their concerns were never addressed.
They also found large rats in a McDonald's within one of their California Walmarts. There have been several stories like this around the country with either rats, mice or other animals potentially risking the sanitation of food items. Measles have broken out in one store and there's a report that a Bosnian War criminal was selling eggs to Walmart until he was arrested.
A mother claimed that baby formula she bought at Walmart was switched for flour, which isn't too surprising since Walmart often has problems with theft of baby food, partly because it's way over priced. There are often large theft rings for baby formula where it's sold to poor mothers who may not be able to afford it, and black market baby formula may not always be safe; and part of the reason for this is patents driving up the prices. Generic brands might be less expensive, and just as healthy, but patents and monopolies or oligarchies are driving the price up for most baby formulas beyond inflation levels.
There are also several new fees or fines being applied for bags or parking which may catch people by surprise, and can get very steep in some cases. In one case they may start charging 10-25 cents for plastic bags if customers don't bring reusable bags, and if these fees aren't charged the store could face a $1,000 fine, potentially trying to pass it on to customers. And in the case of parking, which was often free for people in RV going back decades, they may charge surprisingly high fees for people parked more than three hours, and some cases for people that didn't know about the charges. These could be as high as $48 a day, and if they don't notify campers that can add up very fast. There's also a local rule charging Walmart $100 if they don't retrieve their abandoned carts promptly, since they cause various problems. There have also been more cases where unexpected charges have been applied so some people that caught it are warning others to check their receipts.
In addition to the five people killed in accidents there were at least one and a half dozen other automobile crashes, chases, hit and runs, stolen vehicles, or other automobile crimes, including a Walmart tractor trailer crash, and a car that went airborne briefly before crashing into the store. There were also a couple vehicles that caught fire, and at least five more fires in the store, including two that were clearly accidents and at least one attempt at arson, with the others under investigation. In addition to the fatal stabbing there was another stabbing within hours of it, which resulted in a puncture to the top of the victims lungs, which could have been very serious or fatal, but after an operation the victim is expected to survive, although it's unclear if there's permanent damage.
There are always dozens if not thousands of other crimes, including petty theft that's way to common to report all of them, sex crimes, assaults, a prison guard stalking his ex who may go to the same prison as an inmate, assaults on employees and police, a couple people swinging a bat in separate incidents, employees threatening or fighting each other, and a big brawl where a woman was hit with a metal chair among many other incidents.
They continue to expand the use of drones despite the fact that there have been many problems with them, including complaints about privacy that are routinely ignore and another incident where a drone crashed and caused a fire, showing these are a recipe for disaster.
There were at least five more major recalls including steam cleaners that caused several injuries, bicycle helmets over risk of injury or death, baby sleepwear with a choking risk, electrical cords with two male connections for a fire hazard, and other products sold nationwide. Walmart was also penalized for selling climate polluting products in Washington State.
Have you seen a woman wearing a homemade watermelon helmet start a Conga line at Walmart and shouting "Free the cantaloupes" in your local store? Or is this the kind of thing that only happens at Florida Walmarts?
Do you think Walmart should respect neighbors more? Or do you think they should pretend to respect neighbors more without doing it?
There's an interesting rumor that ICE agents will be deployed to Walmart's self-checkout lanes to stop thefts among other things, and there will be a 15% "Shut up and pay it" sales tax to finance ICE and wars based on lies, and when workers asked if it would be better to give them a living wage they were shot on sight. I didn't ask if there was a touch of sarcasm to this story.
Don't you think baby owls should have a chance to learn to fly before leaving their nest, even if the nest is tucked away at Walmart's ceiling?
Strange things happen at Walmart!
In 2006 Wake Up Walmart did a study, "Is Walmart Safe?" based on incidents in 2004, (PDF) about crime at Walmart which showed that it increased when Walmarts opened up and that crime was higher at Walmart than at other retailers. Since then Walmart Shootings began compiling a list of gun related incidents at Walmart and demonstrated that they have a large number of them, including on average more than one shooting per week somewhere in the country; now after counting them for several years that average is over two per week. In January of 2014 another study, "Rolling Back Prices and Raising Crime Rates?" provided additional statistical research indicating that Walmart might be contributing to higher crime rates or at least a slowing of the decline in crime. The study found that. “on average, communities with Walmarts had 17 more property crimes and two more violent crimes per 10,000 people than those communities without Walmarts.” I reviewed this more in Walmart’s crime problem, Rolling Back Safety more than prices? where I explained that although this study is helpful they could have done better with additional data that is available and I reviewed some of that. I also added my own review about why I think that Walmart policies have been contributing to higher crime in a previous blog, Walmart high crime rate continues un-investigaterd and have provided additional information under the author tag Walmart Crime Watch.
Over the past ten to fifteen years Walmart has been increasing the use of self-checkout, and this has corresponded with a steady increase in shoplifting as well as false accusations, yet they refuse to even discuss returning to the use of cashiers. What most people seem to have forgotten was that when they first did this it was on a small scale as an experiment, presumably to see if it worked before expanding it, which would actually make sense, if they slowed it down or reversed it once they saw how many problems it caused. But that's not what they did. Instead the more problems they had the more they increased use of self-checkout, often claiming that instead of hiring more cashiers again, which worked previously, they resorted to more technology and hiring more security to catch people skip scanning or at other forms of theft. This has led to massive amounts of false accusations, in addition to the real thefts, and when the thefts are real, and they get caught, they often resort to violence, so it endangers both Walmart workers and customers.
Now they're acting as if the rise of shoplifting is happening for some inexplicable reason and even asking police to help them solve this problem, as if it wasn't a problem created by their own policies, and most of the media or politicians aren't pointing out the obvious. This is resulting in a massive increase in arrests, court expenses, and prison expenses, which Walmart isn't paying for, effectively meaning we are subsidizing Walmart's high crime problems with tax money. There's no official explanation for why they're behaving so foolishly; but, since this is a for profit corporation it's not hard to speculate about the most likely reason for it, that they're increasing profits for those making the decisions. But, a large portion of the money saved by not hiring cashiers is spent on technology or security to catch thieves; and, if they had to pay the increase in police, courts and prison costs that would reduce or eliminate their savings, and they would almost certainly reverse their policies, because they wouldn't be increasing profits with self-checkout.
This doesn't even include the risk to the health of both their customers and workers when the worst thieves turn violent, in some cases possibly even shooting and killing people. Every year since 2016 has seen more than a hundred shootings at Walmart, and more often than not, this is increasing, while they ignore the causes of their crime problems. These self-checkouts are also making it easier for thieves to put "skimmers" that collect credit or debit card information from customers that enable them to use their cards illegally, but, once again, the customers are stuck with the tab, not Walmart, so they're doing little or nothing to stop this, even though it's a direct result of their bad policies. And furthermore, courts have ruled that Walmart has a right to detain customers even when they have no reason to believe they're shoplifting, if they simply refuse to show receipts, as a matter of principle. At times some lawyers have claimed they need probable cause to ask to see receipts, which, if a customer goes directly from the register, sometimes even when there's a cashier, to the door they can't possibly have. So this means Walmart is under no obligation to assume their paying customers are innocent until proven guilty, which should raise major constitutional questions!
Stacy Mitchell has also compiled a list of other studies about Walmart and how they impact society, Key Studies on Big-Box Retail & Independent Business. To the best of my knowledge Walmart has done as little as they seem to get away with, often relying on rhetoric that isn't backed up with action, when it comes to addressing any of their critics concerns, including crime. One of the responses they’ve come up with is what they call "Restorative Justice" which gives first time shoplifters a chance to avoid being arrested or any criminal record if they take an on line course which costs $400 up front or $500 in payments, plus perhaps, reparations. This has been part of the privatization process and often denies suspects of the due process or access to a lawyer, perhaps even intimidating and extorting from some people that might not even be guilty. Walmart seems to be trying to find a way to turn crime into a profit making situation instead of looking for the most effective ways to reduce it. Making Change at Walmart is asking If you or someone you know has gone through @Walmart's "Restorative Justice" program for first-time suspected shoplifters, send us a DM. 03/30/2017 to ensure that it isn’t doing more harm than good. I did my own review of this program as well at Walmart’s “Restorative Justice” Endangers Public Without Reducing Crime. The following are a list of incidents that occurred in March 2026. According to the "Is Walmart Safe?" the average store in their sampling had 250 incidents per year indicating that these are only a fraction of the crime reports at Walmart, and presumably, the ones most likely to make the news on the internet nationwide. This isn't statistically representative, as the 2006 or the "Rolling Back Prices and Raising Crime Rates?" study or some of the studies cited by Stacy Mitchell; but it does provide some additional information that may help recognize how many problems there are at Walmart.

South Texas jailer accused of stalking ex at Walmart on Valentine’s Day 03/04/2026
The 25-year-old is also accused of also threatening to "hurt" her coworkers if they tried to help her.
A South Texas jailer is out of a job and is facing criminal charges that could put him behind the same bars he once guarded.
Edinburg police arrested Lathan Lee Sanchez, 25, of Weslaco, in the Rio Grande Valley, on Saturday, February 28. Sanchez is charged with stalking for allegedly harassing his ex-girlfriend at work and brandishing a firearm while threatening to hurt her coworkers if she asked them for help. On Monday, the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, where Sanchez worked as a detention officer, announced that Sanchez had been allowed to resign in lieu of termination just one day before his arrest.
In an arrest affidavit obtained by MySA, the victim told police that she felt “tormented” by Sanchez’s actions, which had allegedly been escalating since the pair had split up in early January. On Valentine’s Day, Sanchez allegedly showed up to a north Edinburg Walmart where the victim worked. Sanchez then allegedly proceeded to harass her while she ate lunch inside her car, followed her as she attempted to leave, and continued to threaten her even as she returned to work after her break.
When the woman told Sanchez she had to return to work, he said that he would wait outside the store “for hours until she got out.” At that, the woman replied that she would ask a coworker to escort her to her car, which prompted Sanchez to allegedly threaten anyone who tried to help her.
“Lathan replied 'why are you going to involve innocent people, they’re just going to get hurt' twice before he lifted his shirt up displaying a Black Handgun that was tucked in his waistband by his right-hip area,” the affidavit reads. Complete article

BALTIMORE (WMAR) - A Maryland mother says a routine trip to buy baby formula from Walmart led to a frightening incident with her 11-month-old son.

How much do Patents drive up the cost for baby formula? 03/04/2026
Patents and limited competition have caused baby formula prices to skyrocket, with name-brand options rising from $0.09-$0.32 per ounce in 2019 to $0.54-$1.15 per ounce by 2024. Branded manufacturers have increased prices by over 25% in recent years, often exceeding inflation.
Monopoly Power: Similar to pharmaceutical patents, infant formula patents and "evergreening" (filing multiple patents for slight variations) create long-term market monopolies that allow companies to keep prices high.
Market Concentration: A few manufacturers control most of the US market, allowing them to dictate prices with limited competition.
WIC Impact: While the WIC program (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) provides, in some cases, lower-cost options, the bidding process for state contracts can lead to higher retail prices for non-WIC consumers, though this impact is generally considered modest.
Rising Costs: The high cost of formula is driven by a combination of these patents, limited competition, and recent supply chain issues, with prices for some brands rising significantly in a short period.
To reduce costs, parents often turn to generic brands, which are generally more affordable than branded options. Complete article

Bellingham Wash. officials hear neighbors’ fears about Walmart encampment during heated meeting 03/04/2026
Nearly 150 people attended the King Mountain meeting March 4
At an emotional meeting on Wednesday, March 4, Bellingham city officials gave an update, and King Mountain residents voiced their fears and concerns about the longstanding homeless encampment at the corner of East Stuart and Deemer roads, often called the Walmart encampment.
King Mountain Neighborhood Association co-hosted the meeting, which was focused on what the city is doing to address the large encampment that has posed a problem for many years.
Mayor Kim Lund described the encampment as a “very legitimate public safety concern.”
The camp has spread across at least seven public and private parcels, the city said. Neighbors on Wednesday night said they’re concerned for their own safety and for the welfare of the people living outside, worried about the violent crimes known to be happening in the camp, and disgusted by the health hazards of human waste and toxic fires. And, said more than one speaker, they’re frustrated. Complete article

Walmart isn’t the cheapest grocery store, new report finds. See which store is 03/03/2026
A Consumer Reports study of nearly three dozen grocery chains across the U.S. found that Walmart — the nation’s most prolific seller of groceries — isn’t the cheapest.
Costco was one of two warehouse chains that require memberships and for customers to buy in bulk that beat Walmart. Another store that doesn’t require those things – WinCo – also finished ahead of Walmart.
Those findings, published by the consumer watchdog publication in February, are similar to The Oregonian/OregonLive’s analysis last month of the price of 20 common food items at eight major grocers across the Portland area. When comparing per-ounce prices, the newsroom’s analysis found Costco to be the most economical, followed by WinCo and then Walmart.
In its study, Consumer Reports price checked baskets full of common items among a much larger field of grocers nationwide before finding that Costco was about 21% cheaper and WinCo about 3% cheaper than Walmart. (The Oregonian/OregonLive’s comparison found Costco to be 31% less expensive and WinCo 7% less.) Complete article

Over 40,000 bicycle helmets sold at Walmart recalled over ‘risk of injury or death’ 03/05/2026
More than 40,000 bicycle helmets sold at Walmart are being recalled by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission because they violate federal safety standards and pose a “serious risk of injury or death” from head injuries.
Todson Inc., a bicycle wholesaler in Massachusetts, is recalling 40,245 Concord-branded 360 Degree Rechargeable Light-Up bike helmets after federal safety officials said the helmets failed to comply with mandatory retention system and positional stability requirements.
“The helmets can fail to protect the user in the event of a crash,” the company said.
The recall, announced Feb. 26, involves large-size helmets with a black exterior, built-in LED lighting system, black straps and buckle, and a black plastic adjustment knob at the back. Complete article

Worldly Hires Former Walmart Human Rights Senior Director to Lead Social Risk Strategy 03/10/2026
Kathryn Smith brings 12 years of responsible sourcing leadership to Worldly as the company expands its social impact platform for sourcing, buying, and compliance teams
SAN FRANCISCO, March 10, 2026--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Worldly, the leading sustainability and supply chain intelligence platform for the consumer goods industry, today announced that Kathryn Smith has joined the company as Vice President, Human Rights Risk Solutions, leading its social compliance and human rights strategy. Smith most recently served as Senior Director, Responsible Sourcing – Human Rights & Environment at Walmart, where she spent nearly 12 years building and running programs that set the standard for large-scale supply chain accountability.
Running a responsible global supply chain has always required good data — on the factories a company works with, the labor practices behind the products it sells, and the social risks embedded in every tier of its sourcing network. For most companies, that data has been scattered, inconsistent, and hard to act on. Sourcing directors, supply chain risk managers, and buying teams have had to make high-stakes decisions without the reliable social insights their environmental counterparts have had for years. As sweeping new regulations, including the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and expanding forced labor import restrictions, raise the stakes further, the gap between companies with decision-ready social data and those without it is becoming more consequential. DOCKING DENIED Walmart cracks down on ‘wallydocking’ by slapping shoppers with $48 daily fines over 3-hour rule 03/12/2026
A MAJOR change in Walmart parking lots has done away with a timeless road trip custom.
The Wally World rule revision will now hit violators with mounting fines that can reach as high as $48 a day.
A timeless safe haven for RV road trippers looking for a place to park overnight or beyond has been large Walmart parking lots across the nation.
The store’s policies towards long-term RV parking and how complimentary its large parking lots are to the practice has even birthed the term “Wallydocking” among RV drivers and van-lifers.
However, some stores have changed their attitudes on the idea in recent years, such as the location on Keeaumoku Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After using up a three-hour parking grace period, drivers still parked in the lot past that point will face a fine of $3 every 30 minutes they stay. Complete article
A MAJOR change in Walmart parking lots has done away with a timeless road trip custom.
The Wally World rule revision will now hit violators with mounting fines that can reach as high as $48 a day.

A 'corporate welfare' claim vs Walmart and Amazon over worker benefits 03/11/2026
Providing low-paid workers with government benefits like health insurance and food assistance is usually considered to be socially minded policy. But another way to look at the payments is as subsidies giving big businesses access to a large pool of labor able to work for less-than-living wages.
That's the critique of Sarah Anderson, Global Economy Project Director at the Institute for Policy Studies, a progressive-leaning think tank in Washington, D.C. In a new report, opens new tab she reviewed pay practices of companies she dubbed "The Low-Wage 20," or the 20 largest employers of low-wage U.S. workers.
Among her top findings: more than half of these firms reported 2024 median pay that would make a family of three eligible for food benefits under the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as SNAP, and for government-subsidized Medicaid health insurance benefits in most states. All the while, most of their CEOs earned (Or got paid, even though they didn't earn) hundreds of times as much per year. .....
Answer: I have worked on executive compensation issues for a long, long time. And this is a report that really connects those high CEO pay levels to low-wage worker issues. These are all companies that are in the S&P 500 and they're the ones that have the lowest median pay levels that they've reported to the SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) and that also have a majority of their workers in the United States. New rule could cost Walmart stores $100 every time carts are abandoned 03/11/2026
BRAMPTON, Ontario — A Canadian city is taking a new step to keep shopping carts where they belong. Under the new rule, stores could be charged $100 for each cart that is left in parks, sidewalks, waterways or other city spaces. The rule affects big stores like Walmart and others whose carts are found abandoned in public places.
City officials said stray carts are a growing problem. People often push carts out of store parking lots and leave them on city property. This creates additional work for city crews who must collect and return the carts to stores. The fee will help offset cleanup costs.
The new fee will only apply when the cart belongs to a store and is clearly marked as such. The cart also must be located where it could block traffic, impede pedestrians or cause pollution. City staff will decide when a retailer has not properly managed its carts and then charge the $100 fee.
Officials say complaints from neighbors have risen in recent years. People have said they see carts near bus stops, on sidewalks and in parks. The carts can be a hazard for people walking, riding bikes or using wheelchairs. They can also harm plants and animals if left in waterways or natural spaces. Complete article

FINES IN THE BAG New charge at every Walmart and Target self checkout comes with $1000 fine if avoided 03/16/2026
SHOPPERs at Target and Walmart who prefer to use the self checkout machines may find their grocery runs getting more expensive.
If the new fee isn’t implemented, offenders risk a $1,000 fine thanks to the new law behind the price hike.
The Carryout Bag Reduction Act is set to force businesses to begin charging customers for carryout bags starting January 1.
Also known as Illinois House Bill 5112, state lawmakers are currently considering the new charge which would begin at 10 cents but could eventually increase to more than 25 cents per bag.
A “carryout bag” is, for the purposes of HB5112, considered any plastic, recycled paper, or reusable bag provided by a “retail mercantile establishment” for transporting goods outside of the store, per the bill’s text.
Businesses must itemizes this fee on receipts, and those that don’t comply with the law would face civil penalties of up to $1,000. Complete article

Because my college didn’t start until October, I worked at WalMart for the month in between.
The first day, I worked 8 hours as a cashier and then was told that we had to return items to the shelves. It took roughly 30 minutes. ......
Because of the delay in getting checks, I didn’t realize until almost the end that they were wiping my hours to 40 exactly per week.
I was angry. ......
Also, once I know I’m terminally ill, I plan on accidentally bumping into something really expensive there.”
Edmond Okla. Walmart drama needs a neighborly solution 03/15/2026
Neighborhoods and neighbors — Edmond is full of them, and they routinely remind any potential developer of their presence.
In the ongoing battle over what can be built on a piece of land at the intersection of Covell and Coltrane Roads, the residents of a nearby neighborhood have been squaring off with a proposed Walmart Neighborhood Market. At a glance, it would appear to be a match made in heaven. Who wouldn’t want a grocery store within a minute’s drive? But this is Edmond we’re talking about, and nothing gets built without a lot of complaining.
I grew up in Edmond, but I don’t claim to understand the ins and outs of real estate law or why large corporations make the specific decisions they do. Still, as an outside observer, it seems fairly clear in this instance that the developer is in the right. The courts think so, too, and have thought so for a decade now. Complete article

Walmart Wins Patents for AI-Powered Price Changes 03/20/2026
The retailer denies it's engaging in dynamic pricing.
Walmart has recently been awarded patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for AI tools that help set pricing decisions. Those patents are getting attention on social media this week as consumers worry about the future of dynamic pricing and so-called surveillance pricing, the practice of charging people different prices for the same goods and services based on their unique attributes.
One of the new patents, US-12524776-B2, includes ways for “dynamically and automatically updating item prices” on e-commerce platforms. The patent filing explains that it combines price elasticity data and predicted demand for a given item, and then an algorithm generates a “first markdown price.” Complete article

A DOZEN PROBLEMS Shoppers threaten to abandon carts over self-checkout changes as customers slam Walmart’s ‘12-item rule’ 03/22/2026
FURIOUS shoppers have threatened to abandon their shopping carts over self-checkout changes.
It comes as stores including Walmart and Costco could soon be forced to ban shoppers from buying over 15 items at self-checkout.
The ban is part of a proposed New York anti-theft law that includes a series of self-checkout changes lawmakers say will also make checkouts fairer.
One raging customer said her Walmart branch had limited all self-checkouts to customers buying fewer than 12 items.
But she complained that it just means longer queues.
She wrote: “The Walmart near me changed all self checkouts to 12 or less express.
“So you’re forced to go to a regular checkout lane but shocker, there’s only 2 open and the lines wrap through aisles.”
Another angry shopper said: “I’m sick and f**king tired of stores with 30 checkout lanes and one f**king employee working.” Complete article

Why Walmart scrapped its ‘outdated’ dress code – and what it means for all 4,000 stores now 03/23/2026
WALMART overhauled its employee dress code in a major chainwide shift that gave store associates far more room to dress differently on the job.
The new rules were applied across thousands of Walmart locations in the US – and changed the look of employees on the shop floor.
At the time, the company said the change was meant to make employees feel more comfortable, included, and confident at work.

Walmart worker who accepted comp benefits barred from suing employer 03/24/2026
The Alabama Supreme Court on Friday affirmed summary judgment for Walmart and a co-employee, holding that a worker who accepted workers compensation benefits could not pursue separate tort claims over the same injury.
The issue in Duke v. Walmart arose after Phillip Duke was struck by a co-worker’s tractor-trailer while jogging in the Walmart distribution center parking lot. Although Mr. Duke argued he was off duty and outside the scope of employment, the court found that his acceptance of workers compensation benefits was decisive.
Walmart presented evidence that he received medical and disability benefits tied to the incident. That showing shifted the burden to the worker to demonstrate the claim fell outside the act’s coverage. The court found he failed to do so. Complete article

Odessa man arrested after Tx. Walmart clothing theft, alleged assault on employee 03/24/2026
ODESSA, Texas — An Odessa man is behind bars after police say he tried to walk out of a Walmart with stolen clothing and assaulted an employee during the incident.
According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the Walmart location in the 2400 block of Northwest Loop 338 in response to a reported robbery. When officers arrived, they learned that a suspect had allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for several clothing items.
Police say 55-year-old Frederick Demone Jones was observed by Walmart loss prevention employees through surveillance cameras as he tried to exit the store with the merchandise. When employees confronted him, Jones allegedly used his forearm to shove a female employee in the chest. The report states the employee experienced pain, and investigators believe the shove was intended to prevent the recovery of the stolen property and allow Jones to leave the scene.
Officers later located Jones nearby and made contact with him. According to police, Jones actively resisted arrest, leading to a brief struggle before officers were able to take him into custody.
A search of Jones reportedly revealed multiple stolen clothing items, a usable amount of suspected methamphetamine, and a firearm inside a bag he was carrying. Authorities also confirmed that Jones had a prior felony conviction for possession of a controlled substance stemming from a December 2023 case in the 161st District Court. Complete article

Walmart Heiress Educates On Why ICE Needs To Release 70% Of Detainees In New Ad 03/25/2026
(Christy may be right on this for the wrong reasons; Walmart exploits immigrants for low wages, since our system doesn't protect thier rights, so they profit from this recommendation. Grassroots advocates object to both abuse by ICE and Wall Street Oligarchs, but they can't afford expensive ads. This media outlet may be providing propaganda for the Oligarchs even if they claim to defend minorities.)
While Walton is known to live a quiet life in Wyoming, she has no problem being a key donor for a number of anti-Trump political causes.
Heiress to the Walmart fortune, Christy Walton, is giving lessons on why U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should release a large number of detainees in a new full-page digital ad that appears to have been published in the March 22 issue of The New York Times, Forbes reports.
Walton says ICE should release a large number of detainees as “more than 70% of those taken have no criminal conviction.” “Free the 70% of those in custody of ICE without a criminal conviction,” the ad read, quoting text of the Fourth Amendment.
“Hold due process for those who remain. Free the People. Find the People who have been deported to countries unfamiliar and unknown to them. Free the People. Complete article

ICE deployed to Walmart checkout lanes 03/27/2026 Touch of sarcasm? You decide.
To combat chaotic scenes across Walmart’s nationwide, ICE has been deployed to police self-checkout and checkout lanes. These officers will inspect purchases and ensure no theft occurs. Wait times have exceeded two hours nationwide due to the radical left refusing to pay Walmart employees a livable wage.
ICE troops are to be dispatched shortly to select Walmart’s across the US to aid good, patriotic Walmart employees who have stuck around to continue working, but are simply overwhelmed with the amount of crooked leftist customers buying groceries and shoplifting baby food. Due to the rampant thefts, Walmart is unable to pay its employees a living wage, causing an exodus of weak liberal employees who are too lazy to get a second job.
Agents will be placed in each self-checkout area, the doors, and checkout lanes. One-hour training sessions will be required to instruct agents on proper techniques of greeting customers and scanning items. Deployed agents will be outfitted with two firearms of choice, as well as a baton and pepper spray. One agent in each store will also be mounted on a turret to further discourage shoplifting.
The increase in manpower is expected to expedite shopping trips and reduce lines by 400%. As Walmart is also not under any legal obligation to pay ICE agents, profits for shareholders are also expected to increase. A 15% “Shut Up and Pay It” sales tax will be calculated and added to each customer’s bill, then paid back to the government to support the agents, as well as to purchase bombs to drop in other countries. When employees asked if that 15% could instead go to them for a raise to a living wage, they were shot on sight for being communist sympathizers. Complete article

CPSC REMOVES HAZARDOUS “SUICIDE CORDS” FROM WALMART, EBAY, AND ALIEXPRESS 03/31/2026
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has successfully secured the removal of hazardous male-to-male extension cords (commonly known as “suicide cords”) from major online marketplaces including Walmart, eBay, and AliExpress, and is urgently warning consumers to stop using these products immediately. These cords feature two male ends with exposed prongs that can become energized when plugged in, creating a high risk of electrocution or fire. They are often misused for backfeeding power from a generator into a home’s electrical system—a dangerous and potentially deadly practice—and their short length encourages operating generators too close to or inside homes, increasing the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The recalled cords are typically blue, red, or yellow, have a three-prong black plug, and were manufactured in China. Specific listings removed include products sold by various China-based companies such as Shenzhen Lieniao Import & Export, Wz-Ei Co. Ltd., Ganjiang New District Yuslow Toys Sales Co. Ltd., and others on the respective platforms.
CPSC Acting Chairman Peter A. Feldman emphasized that these cords have no legitimate household use and pose serious risks of fire and electrocution. The agency has warned about these hazards for years and has now taken stronger action by obtaining delisting commitments from the e-commerce platforms. The Chinese sellers have been unresponsive to CPSC’s requests for recalls or information. Walmart, eBay, and AliExpress have also committed to proactively identifying and removing similar hazardous products in the future. Complete article
